As the reviews said it’s very noisy so at checkin I asked for a room higher in the building away from the conference room as there was a conference. I was told only twin rooms were available which I said not a problem but then was told no we can’t have the room. The noise from the Road was acceptable but the inconsiderate people attending the conference were making loud noises from midnight till five am. Singing and shouting very loudly. We had to leave at 6am for a connecting flight so basically no self whatsoever. We did complain at reception at check out but that was a waste of time. The hotel was booked for use from our agent but I will be letting them know the problem and advise not to book for fellow travellers.

This review is the same as everyone else--rooms are tired but clean (and noisy), sinks don't drain in bathrooms, everything smells a little smoky, but I am underlining a few things for western travelers--the service is SLOW (all caps) and I would say 'not enthusiastic' instead of downright frosty...that is food service and front desk (we developed a healthy fear of asking for help at the desk). The food in the food court is a mixed bag but avoid the middle eastern place (I watched an employee wring the floor mop with her bare hands and then prepare someone's bowl of food from the line). ****** was fun for an hour and the other restaurants treated us well. Conference facilities were solid.

We were visiting a hotel for a work trip for one night. We had burgers for supper at the hotel, and it was perhaps the most disgusting thing we've ever eaten. The beef patty was like boiled and completely raw. We called the waiter and their supervisor, who brought the burgers to the chef, who admitted that the food was raw. They tried to offer replacement food, but our appetite was gone, and we said we wouldn't continue eating at that restaurant. We also stated that we wouldn't pay for the food, at which point they started insisting on payment for the requested Coca-Cola and Sprite. As I'm writing this, I've just thrown up the burger and I sincerely hope I haven't contracted a permanent intestinal infection, for example. Also during the vomitin, the housekeeping comes inside, even Im yelling that please don't come in. Absolutely horrifying place, I cannot recommend it to anyone!

Good budget hotel near the airport , Prompt services and easy connectivity to the airport , Easily accessible to the ****** and restaurants.. Good for a day and easy access to the airport is added advantage.

We only stayed one night whilst waiting for another flight. The hotel is in a complex which clearly models itself on Las Vegas. The room was dreadful. It was small. There is no double glazing and it is situated next to a busy motorway so was extremely noisy. The air conditioning did not work-despite contacting reception and maintenance attending twice it still didn't work The fridge didn't work The bedside light didn't work The breakfast was excellent though. I definitely would not stay again!

Mendior at emperors palace L’hotel è situato a qualche km dall’aeroporto (circa 15 min di navetta o taxi) e fa parte di una struttura con 4 diversi hotel. Struttura datata, reception e in generale servizi non molto efficienti e disponibili, pulizia così così , Wi-Fi poco efficiente, camere con letto comodo, ma ho dovuto far cambiare più volte le chiavi perché non aprivano. ascensore lento, colazione abbastanza valida bei prodotti, servizio un po’ lento . La navetta gratuita verso l’aeroporto parte ogni 30 min. Una valida soluzione per una notte di passaggio a Johannesburg pur se non rispetta a mio parere le 4* di categoria.

We spent two separate nights at the hotel. Pros: very convenient to the airport. Free shuttle to the airport. Next to the conference center, shopping and restaurants. Full breakfast is included and is good. Cons: rooms are small but clean. The thermostat didn’t work which made the room too hot. Hotel is next to the highway so very noisy. I would find another alternative to the airport next time.

We stayed here as part of a large group and spent just the night here to take a flight out of Johannesburg on the next day. The hotel rooms were spacious and well maintained and we regret not having to spend another day here. It is part of a larger resort and there are many interesting eating joints and casinos right next door. It was beautiful and we enjoyed walking around them under the canopy with the artificial sky design.

We did not have any problem in this hotel. Quality - service- breskfast- free shuttle.. without problem..Location is good , near to airport, around the hotel there are casinos, all kinds of restaurant etc.. if i come again i would stay again

So glad this hotel is open again after a long Covid close down. Everything was great from the warm and welcoming reception at check in to check out the following morning. Jersey needs a special mention with her happy smile and the gift of making you feel so welcome. Lovely clean room and superb breakfast. What a lovely Sunday break. Love it every time I go there.

Terribilmente vecchio e rumoroso. Situato in un contesto terribilmente trash. Solo la colazione lo nobilita . Lo sconsiglio a tutti anche se vi viene proposto nei pacchetti vacanza , cercate una soluzione diversa. Ci si può dormire una notte ma ci vuole veramente spirito di adattamento

Moderno albergo situato non lontano dall'aeroporto internazionale di Johannesburg a cui è collegato con un servizio navetta gratuito. Tutte le zone comuni dell'albergo sono dotate di accesso internet wireless ad alta velocità. Ciascuna camera è dotata di servizi privati con vano doccia e toilette separati, aria condizionata, mini bar (a consumo), stazione per tè/caffè, TV satellitare e connessione internet. L'albergo ha accesso al vicino Emperor Palace Hotel Casinò (camminata interna di una decina di minuti con accessi stanze tramite pass oppure camminata esterna di una dozzina di minuti) ed ai suoi servizi, tra cui una Spa, una serie infinita di ristoranti ed intrattenimenti serali. Hotel fortemente datato con arredi, Vintage Anni ’80. moquette e ventola del fan coil rumorosa. Eccellente collegamento con l'aeroporto che si trova a pochi minuti di distanza in auto, tramite un servizio navetta gratuito ogni 30 minuti.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte in questo hotel .. servizio navetta da e per aeroporto molto efficiente e puntuale. L’hotel è molto datato, la camera non pulitissima e l’acqua dal lavandino scendeva lentissima. Comoda però la possibilità di arrivare tramite un passaggio comunicante alla struttura centrale dove ci sono molti ristoranti , negozi , cinema e il casinó.
