Very nice and renovated hotel in the center of Kathmandu. Very nice rooms

Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.

Good hotel

相對中規中矩的五星級酒店，沒有特色，相比於德瓦利卡差多了，同樣價格也會低不少；在這裏住了兩晚，搬到德瓦利卡住了一晚，差距不小。

房間還算整潔，有尼泊爾元素，就是有些舊

很安靜很舒服，環境也很乾淨。

有典型的尼泊爾風情酒店，但水質略偏黃，其他都可以。

This is like good hotel well appointed rooms, specially on the heritage side. The front desk staff is very helpful, specially Prinshu who went out of the way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The last day we had an unpleasant experience as the TV did not function for the entire day. Would go again to the hotel.

Highly recommended to stay in the old wing with a garden view. The rooms are spotless, unique and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the sitting area by the window and the wooden decorations were superb. The conferences area has great halls and the staff at the hotel and the convention center were extremely helpful and friendly.

First off, the place is called Yak & Yeti. You cannot go wrong with that alone if you are in Kathmandu! We stayed on the sixth floor with a lovely view of the pool and the lawn. The service was impeccable - every one is so-o-o-o friendly and nice. We were on a tight schedule with our organized group tour, but I still was able to squeeze a couple of workouts in the gym and also used their pool (which is a good size.....) for laps. They have two restaurants: one for traditional Nepali and Indian cuisine, and the other for European / Chinese / Thai. We enjoyed dining in each of them. Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. I wanted to specifically give high marks to the Reception staff - Dolkar, Pempa and Binay - who were super nice and attentive. We hope to return to Kathmandu and to have another Yak & Yeti experience.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and great dining. Just needs a very little sprucing up to be truly excellent. Nothing wrong with anything provided but all slightly “faded” if you know what I mean. Made up for by wonderful and friendly staff who you get to know very quickly. Quality of the food and drink is also excellent. I would recommend staying here but don’t expect modern 5-star luxury.

We had an amazing experience in the property. Starting from the reception where the front desk went out of way to accommodate our requirements. At dinner we found the meal was delicious. The morning breakfast was out of the world. The live counter pampered us with delicacies. The ambience is good and the staff is very hospitable and helpful. Everything is excellent. The staffs were exceptionally warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The highlight of the high tea for me was undoubtedly the lemon tart it was amazinggg!! Adding a few more savory options would elevate the experience even further. I would highly recommend High Tea at Hotel Yak & Yeti for anyone looking to enjoy a refined and memorable afternoon.
