"We stayed here for one night in the executive suite, and I can’t say it was worth the $500+ USD price tag. We had a mouse in our room. When I reported it to the front desk, they sent three people who tore the room apart and sprayed Doom everywhere. They did not offer to move us to another room initially, even though it was late at night and there was literally a mouse running around. After they couldn’t find it, I finally walked back to the front desk myself and asked to be moved, which they did. For that kind of money, the response should have been immediate—new room, no debate. Other than that, it’s a decent property, but at this price point you can likely find better options in the area."
Tlou Safari Lodge
"This lodge is relatively new, and consists of multiple separate units, some with single bedrooms and some with two beds/baths. It is relatively new and all units I saw are in good condition and were very clean; housekeeping staff were thorough. There is a small swimming pool and a restaurant. Staff are uniformly friendly and helpful, and there is an elevated wildlife deck looking out over the Chobe River. We were quite comfortable in the large double-bed room in one of the larger units. The restaurant is fine for breakfast and lunch but selection for dinner was very limited and we went out to eat after two or three dinners there. We did arrange a game drive through Chobe Nat Park through the lodge and we had a great time. Overall, I recommend this lodge, which is about ten minutes from the Chobe Park and just outside Kasane."

"I have mixed feelings about our experience at the lodge. Our time on the Chobe Princesses were absolutely amazing and we were slightly disappointed in the lodge. The staff were absolutely amazing and the experiences offered were first class. However, the lodge itself requires a lot of maintenance and TLC. The management are lucky that the staff are so good as their interaction with guests was totally non existent. Both on arrival, departure and all in between. Food was mediocre and limited. More choice should be given and not just aset menu of one meal. After all this we did enjoy our time with you. Your staff deserve all the credit."

We were able to safely store our caravan for two nights on their premises while we visited Lake Kariba without any hassle. Plus we had amazing Indian cuisine for dinner. Definitely recommended."
