The place was an amazing experience. There were so many different farms animals and we joined in the feeding of them. Also the accommodations themselves were so unique, from trucks and trains to a yurt . You have to make your own breakfaast so that slows you down a bit but overall a really memorable experience

When youvare tired of boring hotel rooms, come stay here. We stayed in a teepee with our own private bath. There are many animals (llama, pigs, deer, chickens, ducks, sheep) there and you can feed them with the friendly staff if you want. We cooked in our outdoor private kitchen pizza oven and juat really enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed in the yurt for one night. The owner was super friendly and considerate. He provided great hospitality to our family with a clean and fun yurt space, private bathroom, breakfast including fresh free range eggs and other breakfast options. My kids and I also enjoyed feeding and encountering the different types of farm animals onsite. Overall, we were very happy to stay in Wacky Stays. Highly recommended!

Such an amazing experience staying there! An outdoor kitchen was perfectly equipped and the bathroom was huge! We made pizzas for dinner in a pizza oven, stayed in a teepee for one night and had a delicious breakfast with their own free range eggs. Attended animal feeding the next morning and learned a lot! Beautiful real farm experience! Would highly recommend!

This is not just accommodation but an experience! We stayed in a yurt, fed the farm animals and relaxed in the evening in our outdoor kitchen over a few drinks. The property has lots of options for type of room, from teepee to railway carriage, all with home comforts. Hosts were lovely, and the added bonus was getting up close and personal with the llamas.

This is a really unique accommodation glamping option in Kaikōura with nice staff on a working farm. We booked a tipi and it was spotlessly clean. Each option you choose (there's a range of amazing places to choose from including wagons, trains, yurts, cabins) comes with a outdoor kitchen and seperate toilet and shower with hot water. Breakfast for us was in the tipi, with coffee, tea, cereals, bread and farm eggs. The cool thing for us was you are on a working farm and can help feed the animals. Our daughter loved it. Definitely recommend this to my friends, and if i lived in NZ, id def book again. I think you have to remember you're glamping on a farm though, so you need to be prepared it's not a luxury hotel. (btw Also a good running route near here along the river).

Kevin to us are very friendly and accommodating. I could tell every piece of the wagon was thoughtful and well designed. The place was clean and we were treated with everything we needed. Not to mention staying in the wagon was one of a kind experience. The location isn’t too far away from kaikoura downtown. I would suggest you to join the llama trekking along with the stay

We had the best stay in the teepee, it was wonderfully equiped with our own bathroom and kitchen facilities. Lovely and clean. Such an amazing experience for the kids. The animal feeding was an added bonus and we got to do it twice. All the staff were friendly.
