This was a truly royal experience. We enjoyed this property so much, that we cancelled any planned outings after the first day. The Palace/Hotel is extremely well maintained. Pre arrival with Gaurav Samtani was very pleasant. Arrival was made special by several members of the hotel staff and on a daily basis by Mehardin, at the front door. The food and beverage service was excellent - wide variety of choices, and no special request was impossible. While every staff contact was outstanding, I would like to mention Aaryan at the Trophy Bar, and also Aman, Karan, Saddique, Shashank, Chandan S, Pragya, N. Singh and Goverdhanji during our many meals. Saddique also was very attentive at the Polo Match. Even the young *** at the outdoor pool area and gym was great.
This was a business meeting with our team and partners held on December 10, 2024, which went exceptionally well. Mr. Salim managed all the arrangements with great professionalism, ensuring our guests were fully satisfied with the service. We look forward to hosting more meetings at this hotel in the future.
Gorgeous hotel, spacious beautiful clean modern rooms, great location, beautiful rooftop, but the biggest compliment is to the service, we had the feeling that everyone was doing their best to give us good time and in such a polite and gentle way, wow., we kept on extending our stay because we loved it so much. Highly recommended!
I arrived at this beautiful Haveli and could not believe how big and adorned with art and antique this place is. The staff are very kind, friendly and attentive. I was very lucky to meet the owner, his wife and family at dinner and she was so kind to offer me some home made pickles. The food was delicious and the desert was something I have never had the opportunity to try but it was the best sweet and it’s called RajBhog. It is made of milk and it looks like a ball with saffron inside. Come and visit this hospitable haveli, you will not be disappointed.
Hotel Balam is located in Shikargarh area of beautiful blue city of Jodhpur. The hotel has traditional exteriors. I was here for a business trip and let’s be upfront they don’t serve very good breakfast. The restaurant food is above average and slightly over priced for the quality and portions they provide. Housekeeping does an average job and at times skipping to replace bare minimums like towels, toilet rolls and even water bottles. A lot of improvements can be made as far as service is considered. And yeah they are a young team, I wish them all the best.
This property has a great ambiance, huge palatial rooms, pedigree Marwari horses, beautiful trees and gardens. Additionally, lovely views of sunrise and sunset by the palace, accompanied by bird song, make this a perfect location for holiday. Great food and good service. Jitender Shekhawatji inculcates a feeling of mehman nawazi amongst the staff and leads by example. We enjoyed the Rajasthani cuisine, ker sangri was our favourite dish. The evening candle lit barbecue with warm wood burning fireplace, and morning breakfast have really good food choices. Rahul Rana and Motilalji, made us feel really welcome. Walking by the pool, and talking to Madanji was an amazing experience. We enjoyed playing badminton and mini golf. It was too cold so we didn't swim in the unheated pool but the setting is beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised to be invited to High Tea, a fantastic experience by the palace, it felt like a taste of Royalty, created specially for us. There was a dedicated person (Bhagwan Singhji) who ensured we had lots of yummy food, hot tea and gave us privacy. Thank you Jitendra Sir for this unforgettable experience. The stables and horses are an added attraction. Everyone is so friendly, and we definitely recommend undertaking a horse ride. The horses are so majestic, and if done early in the morning, one can see, hear and experience the birds singing in the trees as you move past them. The Regal Suite at the palace is definitely worth the money. Ornate ceilings, huge rooms, period furniture and beautiful setting all add to the experience. The palace caretaker made our stay really memorable. The others who made our stay extra special were Arjun Singh at Kebab Korner, Bhagwan Singh and Dalpat ji at the stables. We extended our stay by 2 days and enjoyed every minute of it.
We stayed at Novotel Hotel for two days with family. The first thing is the location of the hotel, It is centrally located and has good connectivity from the airport and all the heritage sites. Now, I start my experience at this property. When we reached the hotel, they served welcome drinks and started the check in process. The staff at reception was very professional and cooperative. The standard check in time is 2 pm but they managed for us to check in early at 12 Hrs. The property is newly built so everything in the hotel was fine. The interior, washroom, cupboards, bed and sitting all were so clean and comfortable. The rooms have all the modern amenities. The breakfast was so delicious and full of variety. The best thing at breakfast was the live counters, from where you can order a dosa, uttapam, pan cake etc as per your choice. The staff at the dining area was so caring, they were entertaining each guest individually, serving the food as per their choice on table. If I remember correctly , Mr Rishabh, one of the staff in the dining area, was so caring, he came to our table many times to ask for food and drinks etc. My kids also enjoyed themselves there a lot, they had fun at the swimming pool. Finally, I would like to appreciate the overall hospitality of Novotel.
The property itself is beautiful, and the service standards, especially of housekeeping and F&B were gold, as always. Felt maintenance and cleanliness of the grounds could have been better. Not being able to use a Taj Voucher that was gifted to me was a disappointment - what's the point of people buying and gifting Taj Vouchers, if Taj properties refuse to honour them? Food was good, but things like Eggs Benedict for breakfast, which I've had at every Taj property, was apparently not an option here. Overall, takes away from the Taj Experience.
We enjoyed 2 nights at the guest house and from the moment we arrived the owner, Ranveer and his family, made us feel extremely welcome. The room was prepared at short notice for us which was really appreciated. The rooftop restuarant has stunning views across Jodhpur and we spent many a hour eating and drinking here whilst being tended to by the staff who were all very friendly. The food was delicious at both breakfast time and in the evening. Ranveer was able to help with organising our tuk tuk to/ from the guest house. Thank you so much Ranveer for your kindness you are a wonderful person.
The haveli is actually a homestay managed by a lovely couple. The property is lovely, very well kept and managed. It's located in the old city, so some amount of small dirty roads to traverse, but not too much. I cannot overstate the advantages of staying in the old city. Most attractions are within walking distance be it the ghanta ghar, mehenrangarh fort, main shopping area and loads of street food! So location is definitely a BIG plus! The rooms that we got were very very comfortable, simply decorated and modernized. My mum had leg pain due to arthritis and they were very kind to give us a room on the ground floor. However, they have their dining room on the 3rd floor, for which she had to climb. They did offer to deliver the food to her room, so that option exists too. Also, they are doing some renovations to include some more rooms and a lift facility. The food is simply delicious! Simple typical home cooked indian meals that are satisfying. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had absolutely no complaints. The view from their terrace is gorgeous!! Definitely recommend staying here.
This beautiful small boutique hotel was very homey and comfortable with a king comfy bed, large modern bathroom and two stories that included a sitting / den area and outdoor porch on the upper floor and fantastic views on both floors of the Mehrangarh Fort. At night the grounds are magical with candles lit throughout and beautiful landscape lighting. There are 2 restaurants with friendly and attentive staff and excellent food and views of the fort. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly go back
Having stayed at over 14 Zostels across India, this has been one of the worst experiences in terms of service. The staff here are highly commercial, prioritizing upselling value-added services over genuine hospitality—this applies to both the reception and café teams. In particular, the receptionist with a moustache (whose name I can’t recall) clearly lacks the training required for the hospitality industry. A notable instance was when a guest requested a room change due to excessive noise from the first-floor rooms caused by the staff’s constant shouting. Instead of addressing the issue with courtesy or instructing the staff to be mindful, the receptionist dismissively replied, “Sound toh aega.” This lack of empathy and professionalism reflects poorly on the Zostel brand. Unfortunately, this has been my worst experience with Zostel staff and service to date. And before my stay at Zostel clock tower, I stayed at Zostel Ratanada and the staff behavior and support was top class
Spacious rooms with lot of open space inside the hotel, bathrooms are basic but clean and equipped with all your needs and toiletries, there is also a small cultural show in night where you can enjoy Rajasthani singing and dancing and also you can dance with dancers for your fun,There is also an open garden and pool though pool is not so big,spa centre is also there, Angithi restaurant serves food which is good though little expensive, morning breakfast which was included in our room tarrif was also good with lot of choices, Front desk is not much welcoming but no more complaints with them but they can improve with smiling faces and expressing better aatitude towards guests, room service was quick and proper,we six friends booked two executive rooms and found our one night stay peaceful and we enjoyed our time, early check in and late check out is hardly possible, they gave us only twenty minutes more than scheduled time of check out, hotel is located little far from city centre and no more Shops near hotel but it is not too much far, taxies and cabs are available for coming to hotel and going to city, thanks --
