Regrettably, this was the most disappointing five-star hotel experience I have encountered. While the restaurant, guest rooms, and common areas are great, the overall stay was marred by communication with staff. The hotel's forested location, although scenic, made transportation challenging, as securing a taxi was often difficult. The fitness center, while modest, is equipped quite well. However, the personnel, particularly the front desk, was rude and unhelpful, which just ruined the overall experience.
My dissatisfaction with this hotel has begun even before my arrival, as all my emails were consistently ignored. This regrettable pattern continued at check-in, where the front desk worker was talking with us in extremely rude manner. Throughout my stay, all my requests were met with impoliteness, leaving me with the feeling of being an unwanted guest. This perception was further reinforced by the difference in treatment—attentive service was extended to Korean quests, while international guests were met with noticeable discourtesy. Although the hotel's facilities are good, the service is just awful, I would definitely not recommend it for staying.
