LA BELLE MAISON - Beautiful 1850 Historical home just across from Lions Park!

We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year.

Great little place to stay in Jefferson TX. Mother/Daughter, Sister Trip, family friendly. 2 private bedrooms, and 2 twin beds that are in the open. 1 full bath.

My son and his wife and I stayed at this beautiful home. It was amazing. We loved every moment. We felt like doing a film or we were so inspired by the environment. It is so interesting and so beautiful and they chose the room with the pink curtains because it was like pink light was coming in. It was awesome and I slept so well and they slept so well. And Wendy. the woman that managed the property was probably the most wonderful person I have ever spoken to on the phone. She accommodated us and we were so grateful. We will only stay there, and we wanted to plan all of our trips to come to Jefferson. We loved it thank you Wendy!

Beautiful place. Carpets and hardwood floors were not clean so couldn’t walk barefoot. The biggest concern that I had was the ramp coming into the back door. It needs desperate attention and repair. My 72 year old friend had an accident. Tripped and fell due to this ramp. It should be on your camera. Minor aches and pains and some bruises. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. Loved the decor and charm. Sipping tea in the morning off the back porch was my favorite. Also there was left over reminders that it wasn’t cleaned after the last guests. I love the shower and all the goodies that were left. You have amazing water. Thanks again for a lovely adventure. I would stay again if it were cleaned and stocked. I shouldn’t have to worry about cleaning or restocking on vacation. I did love it so. Thank you for sharing your home.

Girls Weekend Getaway!! La Belle Maison was a step back in time. The setting was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our coffee on the back porch. The house was appointed with everything we needed. Conveniently located within walking distance to the Gone With The Wind Museum and Lyons Park. Truly a gem to be enjoyed in Jefferson, Texas.
