Excellent choice. It is well located and I walked to all the local attractions from there. The bed is comfortable and the room was kept clean. The breakfast area in the terrace is the best part. The area is noisy so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

Very old hotel not really recommended

Очень понравился отель. Расположение- достопримечательности, базар и кафе в шаговой доступности. Завтраки вкусные, повара стараются от души! На завтраке выходили на террасу кормить чаек колбасой, это потрясающе! В номере чисто и тепло. Номер не прокуренный, посторонних запахов табака, сырости нет. Сантехника чистая и исправная. Белье и полотенца меняли каждый день. Воду ставили каждый день. На ресепшене администраторы приветливые, всегда во всем помогали, отзывчивые. Нам очень понравился отель, вернёмся.

서비스는 매우 좋았으나, 방 자체 방음이 너무 안되어있어서 잠을 청하기가 힘들었습니다. 위치는 번화가 내에 있어서 먹거리도 많고 관광객들을 위한 거리도 따로 있는것 같아 좋았어요.

前台服務不錯，早餐也不錯。 但由於在市中心，晚上街上較吵。

Warning, Legionella Bacteria!!!!!! We stayed 1 weak at this hotel and my wife got Legionnaires' disease caused by Legionella bacteria from the AC or shower. She got breathing problem and stayed at hospital. The hotel has a low standard. No way to recommend this hotel.

Visited this hotel in January for first time. It was very good, comfortable Really close to all the mail places of interest . The staff are very nice , friendly ,especially Halil. We recommend to stay there, because we really enjoyed Thanks for good times, Amber hotel See you next time 🕰️

Went from the 30th April to 6th May. Staff are lovely and knowledgeable, informing us of the historic sights to see. Hotel was very central to main routes especially the blue mosque, tram line and grand bazaar. Will miss Istanbul, especially the hotel cat we made friends with who slept on our bed every single night. To whose that stay in room 207, please leave your windows open and look after her with plenty of cat treats and food.

Small Friendly hotel, with comfortable clean on-suite rooms. Walking distance from old city Concierge very helpful and friendly - English speaking. Chef a delight, no English but very obliging. Satellite TV system needs re-tuning. Very enjoyable stay, in a slightly older, quirky hotel that feels like it's family run.

Hotel Amber is situated in Kumkapi near a streat with a lot of (fish)restaurants and in walking distance of the bazaars. The location was very good. The room was very clean (and was cleaned every day). The breakfast was on top of the hotel with a beautiful view on the sea of Marmara. The receptionist helped us with arranging the boottour and taxi.

Very good located, WE really enjoyed this week in the hotel, the staff is very nice especially Yakub, who take about our request. The hotel is confortable with all you need, we recommend this place to spend good time in Istanbul

We had a great stay. The breakfast was a local Trurkish flaver but they would cook your eggs anyway you want. The room was clean and some what roomy. Close to all big ticket to do's in Istanbul and close to the best eating area in the city. A big shout out to the staff and desk clerk who helped us out immensely with our last day and helped us with directions, metro and airport connections because we could not get a decent cab pick up or booking on the day for that I thank them as we arrived at the airport on time and with no fuss. I would thank them and wish all staff for a great and friendly stay. The Romano's
