"Hotel was amazing, we had a really good room with a double bed and a sofa bed, plus a kitchenette, the location wasn’t too far from public transport and only took 3-5 minutes to get to transport areas really good"
"My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Schaumburg was generally pleasant. The hotel's modern design and clean atmosphere created a welcoming ambiance. The staff was friendly and efficient, providing helpful recommendations for dining and local attractions. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth.
The room was comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. While the room size was standard, it was functional and met my needs. Overall, the Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Schaumburg is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the area."
"I was in Schaumburg for a 2 Day conference and chose to stay at a more cost effective location since I was traveling alone and really just needed a decent place to stay.
Upon arrival, I was greeted and given my key cards. I drove towards the side door as it was closer to the
elevator. Not the hotels fault I guess, but people were smoking in areas I know weren’t designated for smoking.
The 2nd floor ***** of ***. I am grateful it wasn’t coming from my room, however: the assigned room did not smell clean at all. I did bring cleaning sprays from home just in case, the room wasn’t clean. I had to wipe the counters , desk and sink top off. They were dirty and sticky to the touch. I was going to ask for staff to come up and check the room but decided not to do that.
The next morning I went to the front desk to ask that
Housekeeping not clean until I left. Front desk staff was on the cellular device and I had to get his attention. He was nice and courteous but told me that rooms were cleaned once per week. Guess that’s why my assigned room smells the way.
While I am an avid dog lover, the dogs coming out the exit when I tried to enter were huge. This gentleman had two and could hardly control them.
Nevertheless, you get what you pay for so I can’t be too upset. I just don’t recall this chain being so lax about the amenities, staff professionalism-and cleanliness."
"Nice clean room with basic amenities and comfortable king size bed. Check in adn check out was smooth and great friendly staff. The room had some weird noise periodically coming from the HVAC system which made it a bit annoying but other than that it was good."
Very clean. Loved our King suite, especially for the price!!! Food was good, but they had a bit of a hard time keeping up with hot items being stocked... It was pretty packed though, so it was understandable. They kindly gave me a late checkout so the kids could swim after breakfast... Pool is a little small and we're always a fan of a hotel with a hot tub (which this one doesn't have), but it was clean and did the job for the kiddos anyways. Overall, one of the best Hamptons we have been to and we will definitely go back when in the Chicago area.
Highly recommended. Particularly, breakfast is great! If you want to stay quiet, ask them to get a room, not on the first floor which is quite loud at night due to the bar and lounge.
The hallways smell very bad. The bathroom is a bit dingy. The sheets were clean. They don't offer dry cleaning/laundry and they clean the room after 3 nights minimum. They don't have some amenities stocked like medicine, etc in the store. I stayed here because it was cheap and close the Renaissance hotel and convention center. For the price it was worth it.
