The best place in the world - a real paradise! So clean, quiet, beautiful. There is amazing swimming pool, that changes its light in the evening, it is cleaned almost every day. You can be provided with tasty breakfast. The staff gives you a lot of useful pieces of advice and can help you to book a canyoneering adventure. It is far from a noisy and crowded street, so you can enjoy the silence. The territory is closed so you can be safe, your kids can walk in the yard and play with puppies. If you rent a bike you can easily and fast get to the cafe Pasta bar with some tasty pancakes, spaghetti and soups. Moreover you can reach some great places with the message. This property is absolutely amazing! We spent the weekend here at Eskapo Verde and I def. have to say that this is the best and most unforgettable experience during our stay in Cebu. Location: The property is located south to Moaboal inbetween the Moaboal city/ town and Kawasan canyoneering. Perfectly quiet within lushy mangroves and wild creatures. It's not as bustling as Moaboal so if one is looking for a green escape this is the place to go. Facilities: The lodge offers cottages which are super amazing. Very well maintained and eco-friendly. I really appreciate the property's effort in not offering unnecessary plastic and disposable items. The property has its own restaurant and it is fabulous. We spent half a day just exploring the lodge and were pleased to have interesting encounters with its natural inhabitants. Staff and owner: Super friendly and professional. They provide responsible services, and the owners, Simon and Alain, are very hospitable and helpful. We really appreciate their help, as well as the support from the staff that made our trip so amazing.

⸻ Nous devions rester 2 nuits et avons finalement prolongé notre séjour de 3 nuits, preuve que nous nous sentions vraiment bien dans ce resort. Le personnel philippin est exceptionnel : accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible. Le manager est au top, très professionnel, parle plusieurs langues et rien à redire. Lors de notre départ, il y avait même une réceptionniste française, ce qui facilite encore plus la communication. La nourriture est excellente, de très bonne qualité. Elle est un peu plus chère, mais c’est totalement normal vu l’emplacement isolé du resort. Le resort est excentré, l’accès peut être un peu compliqué, mais c’est le prix à payer pour profiter du calme absolu, d’une plage quasi déserte et d’une piscine impeccable. Un scooter peut être loué facilement pour rejoindre les commodités. Je ne comprends pas certains avis négatifs : on ne peut pas vouloir la tranquillité sans accepter l’isolement. 👉 Note : 8/10 👉 Je recommande sans hésiter.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a  view of the ocean over the treetops. It felt peaceful and private — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were exceptional — so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They helped me plan a surprise proposal for my fiancé, offering suggestions for the perfect location and ultimately arranging for us to use their private rooftop. They also coordinated a romantic dinner there just for us, ensuring we had complete privacy. It was an unforgettable evening, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it so special. The resort arranged our transportation both from our previous hotel in Mactan and later to Cebu Pier 1, which made travel stress-free. We also booked canyoneering and an introductory scuba dive through them. The instructors were fantastic — very patient and reassuring, especially when I became nervous underwater and couldn’t finish the dive. While the resort is a bit removed from the busier Panagsama Beach area, that was a huge plus for us. We wanted somewhere quiet, scenic, and romantic, and Blue Orchid delivered exactly that. The restaurant doesn’t have a massive menu, but the food was consistently delicious, portions were perfect, and prices were very fair. Even though there wasn’t a kettle in the room, hot water, coffee and tea was readily available and it was never an inconvenience since everything was close by. We also appreciated the mosquito net over the bed — it added to the tropical charm, though we didn’t need it because insects were never an issue. We even spotted a tiny gecko in our room upon arrival, but it was harmless and quickly disappeared — just part of the island’s character! Overall, the Blue Orchid was everything we hoped for: quiet, romantic, and welcoming. The staff helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our lives absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend it, especially to LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a peaceful and genuinely inclusive place to stay in Moalboal. When we do a return trip to the area, we will stay here again. 

Loved the property and the beach. Best snorkeling we did in Moalboal was direct from the resort and we saw turtles and lots of starfish and marine life. The lifeguard Frankie went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing snorkeling experience. Also enjoyed the pool and the location worked perfectly for us as it was away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to hit the town for dinner each night. Plus, White Beach is a 5 minute paddle away on the kayak. Would definitely come back again

Спать можно только с берушами, которые отель благоразумно дает сам. Если вы планируете тусить всю ночь, то это идеальный отель. Если отдохнуть после дороги, то нет.

Has a lot of potential. Location is good and staff were helpful in ordering Tuk tuks to the town and organising day trips. Unfortunately our shower kept going cold but they did do their best to sort it.
