"Good rooms and at a very good place."

"My room iwas a diuble bed room with a sofa. It was clean clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good. Reasonable price. The staff was frendly and helpful. I had an urgent meeting and requested the staff to extend the check out time. The staff extended the change our check out time for free. It was a 6 mins driving distance to the town centre and railway station. It is good for those who drive. Free parking.But if you don't drive, the hotel may not be the perfect choice."

"The hotel is located near the Motorway and near Thorne North station. The rooms are in a building across the car park from the pub. Rooms are clean and staff is helpful. Kettle, Iron (in hall) and comfortable bed, small telly and work space with plenty of electric sockets. The rooms are on two floor, there is no lift. Pub offers 15% discount on meals for residents and there are supermarkets and food places behind the accommodation. The main town is about 15 minutes walk, nearby is a park with walkway to the canal for those wanting exercise. Reasonable price, will return."

"WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊"

"Hotel was busy with a very loud wedding. My room was starting to look and feel dated. Was outstanding 8 years ago. now less than average. I feel a modernisation plan would help. biggest gripe was breakfast stopped at 10am on a Sunday. we went down at 09.30 and they where starting to clear away. I personally think 10.30 or 11am would be more customer focused on a weekend. However check out time is 11am. again too early. Just my thoughts."
