"This hotel had loads of space in the apartment and the reception member was very helpful on arrival. It is a 5 minute walk from Cité médiévale and about 20 minutes from the lower city. I stayed in a single room apartment and it had a double bed and a double sofabed, as well as all the utensils and equipment for cooking your own meals."
"We did not receive advice that the the hotel cannot be accessed by car, so Satnav is not helpful. It was almost 9pm when we left the airport 11minutes away by car, but we did not arrive until 90 minutes, within the traffic-free old city. Phone calls to the hotel (separate phones, several occasions) connected us to a Tesla Charging number(we had a VW hire car|) or an Agent Immobilier. By asking local people on the street and in a restaurant, we eventually arrived at a secure hotel carpark with electronic code access, a young man appeared as he was locking up for the night. He told us we were lucky to find him there. We parked and were transported by him via a circuitous and improbable route through the fortifications. Why were we not given directions to this car park and why was this system not explained to us? Diabolical!"
"We really enjoyed our stay at Sowell Hotels Les Chevaliers. We booked a Deluxe room with a terrace and a view of the medieval fortress of Carcassonne, and we definitely did not regret it. At night, the fortress was beautifully illuminated, and the view from the terrace was absolutely stunning.
The room itself was very nice. Even though it was -3°C outside, the room was warm thanks to the heating, and it felt very comfortable and cozy. Sleeping was also very comfortable. The room was quiet, and we did not hear any noise from other guests.
We booked the room with breakfast. Breakfast was served as a buffet, with a good variety of food, all tasty and fresh.
Everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
"Ample, free parking spaces, good spoken English at the front desk. Located next to a large supermarket. Rooms are clean and comfortably designed. We booked one night but ended up staying two. Cleaning service was very observant, noticing that we'd only been drinking the decaf coffee sachets provided and topping up extra of those. Nice, small details that help make the trip more comfortable. The hotel is around 30 minutes walk to Carcassonne castle. You can drive there in the evening and park outside the castle for free after dark - a highly recommended experience. Overall, this hotel is the perfect choice if you're like us: foreign visitors, travelling in France by car."
"Todo correcto, la habitación era amplia y aprovechamos la piscina. Desayuno abundante y variado. Cenamos en el restaurante y el servicio fue un poco lento porque estaba lleno pero la comida estaba buena."
AACupintheairBeautiful hotel in an historic and spectacular location. My only criticism is that service at the restaurant (both at dinner and breakfast) was extremely slow
Cchristophe jean alexandregood points : superb hotel quiet and clean, 200m from the beach, beside the pedestrian street with all restaurants and coffee. the swimming pool is small but enough to refresh. Bad points : check-in 16h00 to 20h00. check out 8am to 11am... you get 19h max but you still pay for 24h.... opening of swimming pool in the morning when you need to check out. and really too few parking places..... in season, you need to turn in the area untill you are lucky enough to find one. yes, i know, you can do nothing about it, but that's a fact.
JJdechWe had Jean's room, which is spacious with a window facing the medieval city wall that is lit up at night. All the amenities are clean. You get a cup of champagne upon arrival and the breakfast is a communal experience as you fill the area with the other guests. I have already recommended this place to friends if they visit the city. Great ambiance for couples.
JJune Yoon YiI stayed here for a total of 3 nights and 4 days. The staff were very friendly, the location was the best, the facilities were good, and the price was not expensive. In particular, it is a 10-minute walk from the train station, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and Narbonne's representative cathedral and historic site are close. The cooking facilities, toilets and laundry facilities are well established. In particular, I want to give a lot of praise in that there is no place that is broken. Considering that this residence is a three-star residence, it is almost perfect.
