I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this incredible homestay on Dongshan Island—it’s hands down one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. From the breathtaking sea views to the thoughtful, attentive service, every single detail made my trip unforgettable, and I’m so glad I chose this homestay for my island getaway. First and foremost, the seaview here is absolutely stunning, beyond anything I could have imagined. The homestay boasts an unbeatable location with unobstructed views of the endless blue sea, and I spent every spare moment just admiring the ocean, both morning and night. Waking up early to watch the soft golden sunrise glisten over the water, with gentle waves lapping against the shore, was the most peaceful way to start each day. As the sun set, the sky painted itself in warm hues of orange and pink, reflecting beautifully on the sea, creating a romantic and serene scene that took my breath away. Even at night, the quiet glow of the moon on the water and the soft sound of waves made the view just as magical. I took countless beautiful photos during my stay, and every snapshot perfectly captures the mesmerizing beauty of this place—no filter could ever do the real scenery justice. What surprised me most is that the homestay is even more beautiful in person than the online photos. When I booked the room online, the pictures looked lovely, but I didn’t expect the actual space to exceed my expectations by such a large margin. 五星好評！離海很近出行方便，出門是彩蝶灣，旁邊就是馬鑾灣和金巒灣，方便看海和撿貝殼！要求上樓換拖鞋，且衞浴乾濕分離，看得出對衞生方面很重視。公區超大，店裡擺放了不少樂器，經常能碰到吉他大佬彈唱，氛圍感直接拉滿。還和店裡的朋友一起玩遊戲了，非常開心🥳老闆人超好，待人真誠且很有趣。外面還有桌椅可以坐着聽歌唱歌，還有個鹹魚的指示牌架子很有意思哈哈哈🤣一樓提供免費洗衣服，而且有專門晾衣服的地方。另外還有一衹小貓兩衹小狗，温馨治癒，住宿體驗超棒！

The hotel is located in the old street, and they provide a shuttle service to pick you up at the junction, which makes very convenient. The receptionist is very friendly and even messaged us after checkout when we accidentally left something in the room, helping to arrange delivery—really thoughtful service. The location is great for walking around and exploring the area. Plus, having a lift is definitely a big bonus, especially when you’re traveling with luggage!

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

入住這家民宿，實在是感覺太好了！老闆熱情好客，請我們隨便吃他家自產的百香果，品他家的茶。早餐便宜實惠。停車方便免費。房間的廊亭下面就是菜地，站在窗前就可以欣賞田園風光。離景區懷遠土樓很近，步行幾分鐘就到。離雲水謠古鎮溜達着就可以到。以後如果再來這裏，首選的還是這家民宿。
