"Stayed here for a couple of nights while traveling through Rong'an, and honestly, it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is right on Rongjiang North Road, super easy to find, and there's plenty of parking if you're driving. The first thing I did was walk to the night market street nearby, maybe five minutes away. Tried the local Rong'an rice noodles, the kind they call ”lu fen” – the noodles are smooth, the broth is rich, and they put this roasted pork on top that's just amazing. Only cost me like 10 yuan. The next day I asked the front desk for food recs, and they told me about a place that does Dapo flying chicken – it's a local specialty, the chicken is free-range so the meat is firm and super flavorful. Had it white-cut style with ginger scallion sauce, best chicken I've had in a while. Also tried the crispy honey kumquats, which Rong'an is famous for – sweet and crunchy, bought a few bags to take home. The room was nothing special but clean, bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well. For a small-town hotel, it does the job. Would stay again if I'm passing through."
