The room was beautiful and clean - very similar to the photos and nice and spacious. The hotel itself is based in a small community with access to shops, restaurants and small stores which is useful for snacks. The hotel springs are the main attraction but I was disappointed to find at least half the resort shut off. This meant more people were condensed in a smaller area so more sharing than I’d have liked. I can imagine this would be a lovely place for a relaxing weekend if you go on a regular weekend - I went on the long weekend and it felt a little busy which I expected. What I didn’t expect was the lack of regard for the basic principles - children were running around unattended and allowed to jump into pools unattended which spoilt the tranquility element. I respect this is a personal action of the parents but I think the hotel could better enforce its policies to ensure all guests have a more pleasant experience. (There are signs explaining children should be attended at all times but this isn’t enforced actively).

The location is good and the hotel is great. The room is very spacious and good . The service is also great. The staff are nice and very friendly. I will definitely visit it again

This was a great stay to refresh and renew.  I enjoy the hot springs this time of year before it gets too busy.  The bedrooms are so large and bed is cozy.  The hot springs are very tranquil and I also enjoy the gym.  I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet but they had a breakfast to order this go around.  Not much going on in this town other than hot springs.  So choose this place if you need some time to relax peacefully

The hotel is poorly maintained, and it's clear the rooms aren't thoroughly cleaned. Both of the hotel's restaurants are closed (I assume they only open if a group arrives), and of course, there's no room service (if you ask for ice cubes for your room, someone shows up half an hour later with ice in a plastic shopping bag). There's also no air conditioning in the common areas (it's obvious their business model is to keep costs to a minimum). It was a very bad experience.

Good hotel, helpful staff. I would really appreciate if the breakfast buffet was more diverse and a bit more western style.

I booked a villa room for 5 people at Country Garden Hot Spring Hotel Huizhou (惠州碧桂園潤楊溪谷温泉酒店), mainly for the private hot spring pool in the room. That was the highlight – the private onsen pool was enjoyable and relaxing. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a resort hotel. The room felt outdated with old decorations and clear signs of poor maintenance. The floor was quite dusty, and one of the bedside lamps was broken and unusable. The facilities seemed low-maintenance in general, which made it feel more like a basic hotel than a proper resort. Location-wise, it’s remote – about 30 minutes’ drive to the nearest mall in downtown, and there are very few restaurants nearby. If you’re planning to eat out, you’ll need to drive or arrange transport. The private hot spring is the main draw, but the hotel could really benefit from some updates and better upkeep. (3/5 stars)

Location is good and easy to go back to nearest subway station to Shenzhen. Some of those pools closed most likely due to not enough customers. Overall still good price for a short stay.

This is really the perfect place to relax - my second time staying here. The hot springs are stunning and the whole layout of the villas/reception/walkways feels very Thai. Rooms are generally clean and very spacious. Keep in mind that the place has been affected since Covid - it was obviously once a bustling and popular destination but unfortunately due to lowering popularity, less guests which means less money to upgrade and maintain. I would have loved to see the place in its heyday and hope it makes a comeback as it really is very special.

Best waterpark hotel! Room was wonderful. Water was supreme. We drove many hours to get here. Worth it!

Very quiet place, not far away from Longgang, Shenzhen.

My stay at the hotspring hotel exceeded my expectations. It was truly magical. A gorgeous facility with spacious, clean rooms and incredible hospitality. Chen Yongfa assisted me with everything I needed during my two day stay and upgraded my room to a remarkable villa with a private bath overlooking the garden. To awake to the songs of nature was remarkably healing since I was seeking complete solitude. The access to multiple hotsprings were endless and I soaked away all worries under the full moon.. I will definitely return and highly.recommend others to visit. So grateful! Melanie West
