This is much more than a hotel – it feels like staying inside a piece of history. The property is located in a beautiful ancient village, surrounded by traditional Huizhou architecture, waterways, old trees and a peaceful atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. We especially loved the tea house, where centuries-old wooden beams, calligraphy and traditional design create a unique sense of place. Walking through the hotel feels like walking through a restored family residence rather than a modern resort.

Our Suite's balcony and bath tub over-looked the central river where every Saturday evening they perform a uniquely Anhui lighted fish and lantern festival. A beautiful river barge and parade with fireworks and music. The room was impeccable too. As were the grounds and architecture and buildings.

This accommodation and their service deserves a 5 star review. From days before arrival, the Shilily has been in touch with us on possible routes to arrive to the accommodation. A buggy will pick you up and drop you inside the village where you can access the hotel through an alley. Their attention to our needs and itinerary were spot on. We did not even need to plan for anything, they will recommend various places for you to explore. The Xixinan village was a beauty on its own. When tea and dinner time dessert is being served, they will drop you a text to remind you about it. If you arrived the accommodation during tea time, they will escort you to different areas of the accommodation to enjoy afternoon tea and local snacks. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there, will want to stay at the same place again.

The hotel is located on a quaint little island that only allows foot traffic and small buggies to cross over. The service staff were excellent in ensuring that we had all we needed in our rooms. Super polite. They also made special arrangements for tea tasting within the hotel premise even though it was on new year's day. Highly recommended.

All the staff were extremely helpful and nice. We love staying at the hotel.

酒店古香古色，單獨的院落，自成一番天地，不出門的時候，在酒店的老宅子餐廳嚐了下午茶，特別愜意！ 酒店的服務超級贊，進出古村都有管家幫忙接送！我們當天要8點前離店，趕火車，酒店特別協調餐廳阿姨提早準備，讓我們早早去餐廳就餐，而且這早餐也太豐盛了，每道都特別可口用心，大讚！ 最後，西溪南古村比我們預期的要更美更好玩，還不收門票，強烈推薦！

酒店的確很漂亮， 感覺就是整個村裡最漂亮的酒店。 村路有點窄， 每天有好多遊客。 但由於酒店不開放給非住店遊客參觀， 所以住裏面其實非常安靜。酒店是老房子， 每一扇窗每一道門都有它的韻味。 酒店也是寵物友好。 小狗每天在酒店裡散步， 很是自在。 我們一向對打卡旅拍不敢興趣， 旅行喜歡的是自在， 在美美的環境裏和小狗享受好時光， 才是我們最喜歡的度假模式， 拍照嘛衹為留念， 沒有造型， 濾鏡或精修。 但是的確有很多小姐姐在拍照打卡， 應該很出片， 尤其是那艘黃色小船。 唯一的建議是能在餐廳户外加加幾把傘， 這樣下雨或大熱天我們也可以帶寵物户外用餐。 雖然可以理解， 這樣可能比原來的設計不浪漫了😏
