Property has been upgraded better linen the bed is certainly comfortable the particular room I was in had a freezer in the refrigerator. The fly in the ointment is that the in room coffee pot was missing the coffee ground tray and the front desk person was not sufficiently well trained to solve the problem. She looked around for two or three minutes and said she couldn't find the parts but she did not have the initiative to go to another room and switch out the coffee pot, for a substitute coffee pot that had all of its pieces. I don't know if this is for training, poor initiative, or the reflection of young people in America today. Full, hot breakfast was the typical choice hotel breakfast
This was my first experience staying at a Red Roof Inn and it truly was a pleasant surprise. This was also the first trip that I stayed anywhere with my fur babies. Our room was updated and clean. There was no carpeting which made it easier to feed our pups without worrying about them dripping water from their bowl. There was also plenty of well kept lawn to walk them on.
Upon arrival - we had to pre-pay. Now I understand why. If we had not done that I would have not stayed here. The room had not been cleaned very well - items on the floor - stain on the bed coverlet . Although we had a non-smoking room we constantly smelled cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom vent and there were cigarette butts all over the outside ground. Through the outside walkways there were empty boxes strung all around. On the first morning we went to breakfast and they had no coffee and no plates - we had to be on the lookout for housekeeping because the only reason we were able to get the trash emptied and fresh towels was to flag them down. Overall - I would recommend you stay somewhere else - the property does not live up to their website claims. Again, if had not had to pre-pay I would have stayed elsewhere.
