โรงแรมใกล้กับ Vital IngredientในHorley

I came in at night for a stay over . I walked to the premium inn for a bus to the hotel which cost £4.5. The check in process was smooth and easy, there is always someone at the front desk. The room itself is quite spacious with TV , kettle, tea and a heater. There is a 3in1 shampoo body wash and hand wash for shower. Towel was ok but stained. The breakfast is typical full English breakfast buffet style with range of choices on bread and cereal. The cafe bar is comfy and have plenty of seats. The food is of standard but quite a few of the plates were not properly cleaned. Overall I would say it is ok to stay in.

I specifically booked a night at the Sofitel Gatwick because it included 'Meet and Greet' parking with Maple Parking. Had they not included this I would have still stayed but made other arrangments for my car. I arrived at the Maple Parking Meet and Greet and parked the car. Took my keys over to the attendant and signed in. I then asked if they could give me 20 minutes to check in to the hotel, change clothes and bring a bag back to the car. We didnt want to bring a bag of unclean clothes on holiday with us. Here's where things went downhill faster than Gwynth Paltrow on ski's. The attendant, a tall bloke with a mid-european accent shouted at me 'No, do you know you are at an airport'. He actually shouted this. Shouted. To a customer. Take a minute to breathe that in. Fortunatly I knew I was at an airport, having driven 4 hours to get there. To hear that I was at an airport was no surprise, to be shouted at by a car park attendant was. I explained that I didnt want to take a case of unclean clothes on holiday with me. His response to that was 'we are extremly busy and your car will be removed immediately'. I asked if the hotel would hold the bag and he replied 'No they will not hold your stupid bag'. Here's where I should have murdered him with his Maple Meet and Greet Staff lanyard, but I did not. I asked for my keys back to be told once again in an truely agresive manner 'if you take your keys I will close the entry and you can't come back'. I took the keys and left. I then had to park at Gatawick Long stay for an additional £150. We finally checked into the hotel, explained the situation. The checkin lady (Alessia?) apologised and gave us two tokens for a free drink at the bar. They also kept our bag for us. Is this the fault of Sofitel Gatwick? I think it is. They decided to partner with a company that treats people appalingly. So they've got to accept responsibility for that. Please share this review, If I saw something like this I would have chose another car park or another hotel. Other people should be warned.

ไม่กี่อาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา ไม่ได้คิดตัวเองว่า เป็นคนโง่ของโรงแรมจริงๆ ก่อนการเดินทาง ผมเหมือน ”ถ้ามันมีเตียง ห้องน้ํา และล็อคประตูแล้วมันจะทําสําหรับผม” ดี1 ผมต้องประเมินงบนั้นใหม่ก่อน อย่างแรก, good (อย่างที่กล่าวถึงในชื่อ) พนักงานน่ารักและต้อนรับดี ห้องพักสะอาด และอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่ค่อนข้างดี แต่1 *สูดหายใจลึก* ห้องพักเก่าแก่ น่าเกลียด ถ้าคุณปลุกผมมาครึ่งคืนแล้วพูดว่า ”คุณเดินทางกลับเข้าเวลาถึง2” ผมคงเชื่อคุณตามสภาพโดยรอบไม่ใช่ว่าเรื่องนี้เป็นปัญหามาก, แต่มีอีก1 ท่อระบายน้ําในฝักบัวไม่ได้ระบาย2 งั้นก็มีสระน้ําขนาดใหญ่ระหว่างที่อาบน้ํา ก็ไม่ได้ล้นเลยเพราะฝักบัวหัวเสนอน้ําน้อยขนาดนี้คงใช้เวลาหลายชั่วโมงกว่าจะทํา สบู่ล้างมือก็ถูกน้ําลงมาว่าหลายครั้งก็เป็นแค่น้ําเก่าธรรมดาพอไปถึงก็เรื่องเดียวกันกับเจลอาบน้ํา กลิ่นในห้องน้ําค่อนข้างเหม็นและไม่ได้มีอะไรให้ทํากับผมด้วย ผนังก็บาง ได้ยินเสียงคนในห้องข้างๆ กับผม เข้าห้องน้ํา และสามารถเลือกคําที่เขามีไว้ตรงเวลาคุยโทรศัพท์ได้ ทีวีก็ใช้ไม่ได้ สวิชท์ไฟสําหรับไฟด้านบนเตียงนอนไม่ทํางาน ผนังมีความเสียหายบ้างที่ บางจุดและได้รับผ้าห่มบางอันซึ่งไม่ใช่ปัญหาแต่เขาไม่ได้รบกวนการวาดภาพเหนือผืนหลังจึงมีสลักขนาดใหญ่ในผนัง พรมมีน้ําชํารุดบ้างในบางจุด (น่าจะเป็นปัญหาเรื่องถาดอาบน้ําที่กล่าวไว้ก่อน) และก็มีคราบสกปรกมากเข้าไปในห้องนอน มั่นใจว่ามีปัญหามากกว่านี้เจอแต่คิดว่าดีที่สุด ไม่พูดถึงพวกคุณได้ข้อมูล มั่นใจค่ะ จนถึงตอนนี้ ราคาห้องพัก Premier Inn Gatwick เป็น 94 ปอนด์ และราคาที่ผมจ่ายไปในราคานี้คือ 70 ปอนด์ และในสายตาผมก็คงจ่ายเพิ่มอีก 24 quid เพื่อที่จะได้พักที่นั่นแทน ผมเดินทางมาถึงด้วยตัวเองในฐานะนักเดินทางคนเดียวครั้งแรกและบอกตามตรงผมรู้สึกค่อนข้างกังวลเกี่ยวกับสถานะของสิ่งที่จะมาตามโรงแรมแห่งนี้และคงจะเริ่มเดินทางของผมรู้สึกมีความสุขมากกว่านี้มากถ้าจ่ายเพิ่มเพื่อพักใน premier inn สรุป ถ้าเป็นคนหนึ่งในพวกนั้นที่คิดว่า ”20 quid คือ 20 quid ทั้งหมดที่ฉันต้องการคือเตียงและห้องน้ํา ฉันไม่สนใจคุณภาพ” 1 แค่จ่ายเพิ่ม 20 quid2 เชื่อฉัน พนักงานก็น่ารักสะอาดให้ยุติธรรมและได้ทําความตั้งใจแต่นั่นเป็นสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดที่บอกได้เสียดายที่เรียนมา

The best option to stay in London from Gatwick. The staff so kind, educated and always friendly. They checked all the time our stay necessities. Help us with an extra sofa bed, I will appreciate it all the rest of my life. The breakfast are amazing options, excellent quality, good taste and comfortable into the salon. Very near to the airport (access), big rooms and amenities are higher level than I have seen in Europe.

1. Very tired room and security appalling (Gd floor), bathroom window EXTREMELY dodgy so much so that we had to put glass in front of bathroom windows just in case. 2. Room door was a VERY basic lock - had to put suitcases and chair against the door. 3. Bathroom was in MAJOR need of an overhaul, , bath had hole in it patched up with tape and all the fittings were broken and/or Rusty. 4. Tv wasn’t working so had to wait for receptionist to come in and get it working. 3. Booked taxi through the hotel for 6.45 and thought it strange that separate unit was used for the card payment. The following morning we had to wake the driver up (he had clearly been waiting a while) and it was not a licensed taxi that collected us (no taxi plates, no badge or ID inside, no mileage recorder unit etc.). We didn’t have enough time to do anything other than except the rude (but there was 3 of us), but it appears to us that reception are running a side business…. And if we had an accident I doubt that we were covered!!! In essence, if you want closeness to airport and aren’t bothered about staying in a “run down”/ tired hotel then pay a bit extra!!!!
