Fantastic stay! Made accommodations through Ola Properties (so friendly and easy to work with). Our condo was so spacious, clean, quiet, and gorgeous view (beach tower 610). Slider doors open fully ip the lanai, so beautiful! Beach chairs, boogie boards, most kitchen accessories you’ll need, laundry detergent, even a clothing steamer! Pool area is kept very clean, in working order. Music out at the pool side bar was classy and low key! Staff was the friendliest we experienced during our entire trip. Lagoon felt comfortable and safe for swimming for our younger two. One day there was a bit of a rowdy crowd but the lagoon is big enough to just venture elsewhere when we felt it was too rowdy for our littles safety. If we ever return to Oahu we will definitely stay again. Cons: mattresses were hard, but pillows were very comfortable. We have two competitive swimmers that needed to get laps in and hoped to use the lap lane but one side was a bit too shallow and often had quite a number of people hanging out. Not a huge deal they just headed to the lagoon and got in a workout.
This is our fourth visit to the Marriott Ko Olina Beach club in the past 8 years, and we've always enjoyed our vacation there. This time around we stayed with relatives in a 2 bedroom suite and once again we had a very enjoyable stay. Some things that we like about the resort that keep bringing us back: 1. The resort grounds are fabulous - beautiful and well maintained, with 3 pools, 7 hot tubs and lots of seating around and between the pools. Our favorite is the ”reflection pool” which is the quiet pool and is naturally popular with adults without kids 2. The resort is situated on a beautiful ocean cove with a nice sand beach and plenty of chairs on the sand for lounging 3. A scenic walking path runs along the ocean and allows guests to walk or run between the other nearby resorts in the Ko Olina area. 4. The staff were always very friendly and eager to help. On this last trip we appreciated that they were actively enforcing the pool area chair policy that prohibited anyone from leaving chairs unattended for more than an hour 5. Our suite was very nice and spacious with a beautiful ocean view A few things we weren't so crazy about 1. The price of everything. We understand that inflation has made everything more expensive. It seemed however, that prices here have gone up disproportionately. In particular, the food and drinks - ~$20 for tropical drinks and $15 or more for even the most basic food items. It was also nearly $100 per day to rent a beach cabana. Things like this make for a very expensive stay above and beyond the cost of the room itself. Add to it a $40 per day charge for parking. 2. We'd like to see more food options at the resort, particularly during the day - The resorts has two restaurants - Longhi's and Longboard's. They're both nice and the food is good, but they're expensive and the menu options are limited - more so it seems than was the case in past visits. Longboards used to serve breakfast everyday, including a breakfast buffet, but now they don't open until 11:00. We would very much like to see breakfast brought back. The only restaurant at the resort that serves breakfast is Longhi's. - Grab and go options for people sitting poolside would be very nice. Some resorts will have food trucks to accommodate this. On most days we don't really desire a meal during the day when we're sitting by the pool. We want something reasonably quick, not too expensive and not necessarily in large quantity. Simple things like hotdogs, fish sandwiches or burgers, small bags of chips, popcorn chicken or fish, etc. The only option for anything close to this was Longboards, and options there were extremely limited. Also, how about a pizza counter with personal sized pizzas? The only option for that is the store, and those are just heated up frozen pizzas. There are plenty of possibilities for this - just look around at what other resorts do. 3. The on-site convenience store is a mixed bag. On th
Will NOT be staying here again only be rid the rudeness I received from one person at the front desk this morning. Things like this impacts my reviews and decision to stay there ever again. The world of hotels and the competition for business is stiff and the slightest rudeness impact my choice to come back again. In this case this rudeness was uncalled for. The room was nice but beware the pillows are hard ass a rock. and this room was a two person room and there was only one regular coffee and one decaf...really. And when I went to get coffee I was greeted with coffee control freak unless I had it his way there was no other way without the side way looks. In a nutshell won't be back to this hotel!!
ผผู้เข้าพักFor someone wanting to experience Waikiki on a budget it’s a great price! Perfect location right across the street from the ocean and the beach! It’s only 2 min walk to the zoo and the Waikiki trolly bus stop is less then a block away and it’s only $5 a day to take. This hotel is perfect for convenience and location!! The bed isn’t the most comfortable and there are nicer and cleaner hotels but your going to pay a-lot more for that. This was perfect for a short few day trip I took! I’ll definitely book there again! Also their parking lot is not very big so if your getting a rental car I would call them first to confirm they have a spot available for your car to be parked if they do it’s only $30 a night which is also a great price! But that was sold out the whole time I was there. I didn’t need it because I didn’t have a rental car. But I could see that being an issue if you have a rental car.
ผผู้เข้าพักExcellent location for the price. Hotel is mid but I got a real good deal out of it so not gonna complain. Great view if you get one of the upper floors
