Small cozy guesthouse, two floors and very comfy beds. Unfortunately there was no breakfast due to the renovation of the kitchen. But last time we went there was a delicious breakfast buffet. The owner is super nice man that has great knowledge about the town. We would for sure come there again. Thank you Greetings Elsa & Hildur

I think for memory this was the cheapest place we stayed at in Iceland. There is a lock on the front door with a pin. We arrived at 3.00pm and couldn't get in or make ourselves heard. By chance another couple arrived and had their phone number so we were let in. We received an email at 7.00 pm that night with the pin number so I think they need to review this process. There was little contact with anyone there; it really was just a case of a bed for the night. The room was clean but quite small. Breakfast was basic but OK. It was only a five minute walk to some very good restaurants specialising in yummy fresh seafood.

We were in room 8 on the ground floor and were very pleased with the room and it’s facilities for our one night stay. Parking is plentiful and near the front door. You need a code to get in to the front door and then into your room. The hotel is well situated with at least 5 restaurants within 100m. We had a quiet comfortable nights sleep and were very pleased with the continental breakfast with a wide range of items. We only saw any staff in the morning when breakfast was available but he was very friendly and helpful. The hotel may not look much from outside and the view from our bedroom was just of the local sports centre but we would have no hesitation in staying there again and recommending it.

We spend a nice time in this hotel. The room was not big, but clear and comfortable, good bed, slept like a baby Good breakfast, easy access with the late arrival. Friendly and helpful staff Highly recommend

We were in island an did a road-trip, including a stay in the hotel Mikael. Both were very friendly and there was also a very cute cat, we think that she’s the housecat of the hostel, very cute! The breakfast was ver good and the mood was always really familiar.

230€... sérieusement ?! Les photos parlent déjà d'elles mêmes ! En plus de cela : - personne à l'arrivée, porte fermée à clé, une sonette qui renvoie vers un téléphone portable. Nous avons dû attendre que la personne arrive en voiture. Certes cela n'a pas pris beaucoup de temps (une dizaine de minutes) mais quand on est fatigués après plusieurs heures de route et qu'il fait un froid de canard, ça commence déjà mal ! - une fois rentrée première chose que l'on nous demande c'est de régler la nuit, ça c'est fait ! - notre chambre se situait dans le réfectoire, pratique pour aller se chercher un café le matin vous me direz ! L'inconvénient étant que les chambres n'étant pas du tout insonorisées nous attendions et le couple d'à côté parler (ouf) le soir et le lendemain matin ce n'était pas le chant des oiseaux qui nous réveillait mais une mastication de céréales provenant du réfectoire... - en parlant du petit déjeuner, tout aussi nul, céréales rances, muffins industriels, aucun fruit. Bref nous avions choisi cet hôtel car les autres étaient pleins et on comprend pourquoi ! La nuit serait à 80€ je n'aurais pas mis ce commentaire mais au vu du tarif et de l'absence totale d'investissement pour rendre le séjour plus agréable je trouve que ce n'est pas correct vis a vis de ses clients. La 2e étoile est uniquement pour le ménage car dans l'ensemble c'était plutôt propre.
