Gemini Saigon Hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Overall the room was tired (as I have found most hotels in Vietnam to be) but ok with a bath as requested and a very comfy bed. The location was convenient down a small quieter side street so again another plus. However…… our problem came after we accidentally left something in the room after check out. I came back to retrieve said item after I realised on the same day only to be told the house keeper had left and come back tomorrow. After waisting yet another grab bike to go back to the collect the item today I have been told the exact same thing the house keeper has left. Surely they have lost property and she would have left it in there???? Nope by the looks of it the house keeper decided to take it for herself. The item wasn’t expensive but for me it is the principal and disregard by the hotel staff. You have a member of your staff stealing from your guests!!!!! Baffling….. don’t waist your money on this dishonest place.

I suspect where I stayed is a subsidiary of the Gemini Saigon Hotel - and it looks nothing like it. There were basically 2 rooms on each floor, with a lift and stairs to get up and down. I'm looking at the pictures on here, and had none of those facilities. I vaguely recall reading that on another site. I was quite happy with my room, and the bed was really comfortable. Yes, there was definitely a lot of street noise - and absolutely no sound-proofing. A pair of earplugs and a pillow over my head and I had no problems getting to sleep. In some ways, I reckon it's false advertising. I booked on ***********. They need to make it absolutely clear which one you're staying at, even if it means more than one listing.

Very bad experience when arriving at this hotel at 23:00 at night after a long flight from Europe. The room we booked months in advance was given away and we got the message the hotel was fully booked. The man at reception helped us find a different hotel .. but this was not the hotel we booked and in the end we payed more for a very basic room. Can’t judge the other facilities and room quality of this hotel, but this was definitely not what we planned for. Reason btw was that we didn’t respond to messages about our arrival time. Thats because we were flying… and: booking = booking!

I booked a room at this hotel on Agoda, informing that I would come late. I even messaged them in advance with my mobile number that they could call me if anything. When I arrived at the hotel after midnight, the door was closed so I knocked the door. Then one male staff came out with very cold face, telling me "Do you know what time is it now?" I told him that I informed the hotel already even with my mobile number and he just had to give me a key. He was very rude and behaving as if I had to apologized to him, which made me very pissed so I immediately left the hotel and had to find another hotel. I told this issue to the hotel next day, but the staff was making up a story that I made a big noise in my room, causing problems to other guests, but I actually didn't even enter my room as I was refused to check in by that rude male staff. He is obviously making up the story to cover up his big mistake. Just avoid this hotel at any cost. The staff was rude, and the hotel management even does not try to solve the issue after my reporting. I was very painful to be without a hotel room and had to find another one after midnight. It was really the worst experience I've ever had in my life!!

Never had a worst experience in a hotel than here. They broke every arrengement we had with them, lied, ripped us of when renting a bike (like we damaged a 50 years old bike, that was barely functional), when having problems in our room they weren't helpful at all etc.. At the end they cancelled our booking on *********** (as a non-show) so we weren't able to leave a review there on the website. So, although we stayed all 3 nights, we just couldn't review them on *********** - I belive that is their usual practice with unsatisfied customers, so be careful as the ratings are probably too high! It was a shame, as they ruined the last days of a beautiful trip to Vietnam.

khách sạn hình thật và ảnh thật. Hẻm xe hơi rộng 6m ,vô cùng yên tỉnh an ninh và đặc biệt gần phố Bui Viện 100m đi bộ . Là một lựa chọn tuyệt vời cho khách có nhu cầu đi chơi nhưng cần nghỉ ngơi yên tỉnh.

Tôi sẽ không bao giờ quay lại vì trải nghiệm hết sức tệ hại của mình. Tôi hy vọng khách sạn sẽ phục vụ khách có tâm hơn chứ không phải là đặt phòng 1 đường cho nhận phòng 1 nẻo. Thái độ còn tệ hại……….

Thái độ tệ hại, không biết mình ở Hà Nội vào nên văn hoá khác hay sao, nhưng về thì khá bất ngờ với thái độ của khách sạn lưu trú. Đã đặt phòng trên booking có xác nhận nhưng 11h về check in báo phòng bị huỷ rồi và khách sạn hết phòng. Mình khá bất ngờ hỏi tại sao thì kêu giờ đông khách, khách sạn cần làm ăn nên không giữ phòng cho khách. Thái độ thì tệ hại, còn cố ra để khịa kháy khách thêm vài câu. Dù sao thì cũng may là huỷ phòng vì nếu ở đó chắc mình cũng không ở nổi.
