Het hotel ligt bijna naast het war museum en het paleis. De kamers zijn ruim maar oud en slecht onderhouden. Ik moest drie keer verhuizen. Eerste kamer had iemand in gerookt. T****e kamer deed de WiFi het niet. Derde kamer was het tapijt nat van een lekkend bad. Ontbijt heeft ruime keuze. Receptie spreekt goed Engels. Helaas de rest niet. Zwembad op het dak is niet spannend. Slecht onderhoud.

踩雷，踩雷，踩雷，這是一家非常舊的服務式公寓，但勝在地點很好，在市中心，但硬件真的非常舊（應該是90年代末的裝修），一上到酒店樓層已經聞到很大的舊氣味，進到房間裏也是很大舊氣味，但要贊的是衛生很好，雖然房子很舊但酒店還是有花心思去保養，另一缺點是房內的燈光顏色又白又黃，搞到檔次很低，房間床墊比較硬，公共設施也很舊，大樓內有些客戶應該是長租房，其實如果酒店他們願意花一點點錢去更新一下部分硬件，效果會比現在好很多，不過服務員態度很好很熱情。中間發生了一些小插曲，我一家三口原本訂了一個兩房套間（不含早餐），入住登記時前台說我小孩已經超了12歲（我小孩14歲），所以要額外收取費用（440,000VND）才能入住，我非常莫名其妙，為何我在網上訂的時候輸入了小孩年齡但系統不會告訴我去到酒店要補差價呢？我之前入住了另一家服務公寓，對方也會寫清楚超過一定年齡就算是成人，若果有這樣規定，為何不提早說明？！！而且我是不用他們早餐的，但由於在現場不想和他們爭論所以最後決定付費，但實在這入住體驗很不舒服，如果能提前在預訂時告訴我，我就不訂這裏了，非要等到辦入住手續才告訴客人補差價，我下次肯定不會再來。 Big mistake, big mistake, big mistake, this is a very old serviced apartment, but its location is very good, is in the city center, but the hardware is really old (it should be a decoration in the late 90s), once you arrive at the lift lobby you can already smells a very strong old building smell, inside the room also, but what I want to praise is that the hygiene is very good. The mattresses in the rooms are relatively hard, and the public facilities are also very old. I think some customers are long-term renters. In fact, if the hotel is willing to spend a little money to update some hardware, the effect will be much more great, can do much better than now, but the staff are very nice and enthusiastic. Beside those issues ther were a little problem, we are a family of three, originally booked a two-room suite (without breakfast). When I checked in, the front desk said that my child was over 12 years old (my child is 14 years old), so they had to charge an extra fee (440,000VND ), I was very baffled, why I entered the age of my child when I booked online the system will not state clear regarding this extra charge? I stayed in another service apartment in the same city, and the other hotel was clearly state that my child considered an adult. Honestly speaking, is they have such a regulation, why they don't state clearin advance? ! ! Also I don’t use their breakfast, but because I don’t want to argue with them on the spot, I finally decided to pay, but the check-in experience is really uncomfortable, If they can tell me in advance when booking, I will not book here, but they have to wait until check-in to tell the guest to pay the difference, I will definitely not come again next time.

Mai House is one of the best five star in HCM, french inspired design, location is strategic and within walking distance. The hotel is located away from the rush main street. Breakfast spread is generous and you should spend some time at their rooftop bar in the evening and night time. Room is spacious with the bathtub and separate shower.

Excellent hotel and great value. Check-in/out flawless. Staff are all very kind and lovely to deal with. The hotel itself is very modern. The location was excellent with 5 different restaurants within 50m and most attractions within 15 minutes by Grab (Asias version of Uber which is extremely cheap $3). The room came equipped with a kitchenette / cooking essentials as well as a fridge and washing machine. Note a wash & dry cycle takes 4 hours as it’s a combo unit. The bathroom and shower was heaven! Also housekeeping do an excellent job and keeping everything in top order. Cocotte is the on-site restaurant that provides breakfast which was basic but good. The staff there are also amazing and helpful. The pool was excellent and we enjoyed a couple of hours a day there cooling off from the hot weather. The only feedback we have for the hotel which stopped them getting 5 stars is the bed was not comfortable for us. They are as hard as a rock :( Other than that, our stay was excellent and we would definitely stay here again! :)
