ผผู้เข้าพักThe Wi-Fi speed and signal are poor, often disconnecting; the exhaust fan has accumulated dust; the shower's hot and cold water are unstable, sometimes turning cold unexpectedly; the air conditioner shuts down automatically at 2:30 AM, which was later found to be due to a complex setup configuration. Overall, it's passable, and aside from the Wi-Fi issues, the other problems are barely tolerable.
ผผู้เข้าพักI really liked staying here and will definitely stay again if I’m in Hiroshima!! The dorms are right next door to the check-in area and have a separate entrance. Staff was great. It felt very safe as there is a code to access the room. Bathroom areas were clean, slippers are provided, and the beds are very spacious. It was unclear to me if there were lockers- I didn’t ask because I wasn’t worried about it and there was an area in the room where we all just piled our luggage. There’s a convenience store right across the street, and it’s like a 3 minute walk to the train/bus station- really convenient!! I loved Hiroshima and definitely recommend you take the ferry to Miyajima as well.
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อI recently stayed at Capsule Hotel Cube Hiroshima for a few nights—this was my second visit. Overall, it’s a great place, but a few small issues have started to surface.
Positives:
The staff are wonderful—friendly and attentive.
You receive fresh towels, pajamas, and cleaning amenities daily.
Good location, making it convenient for exploring Hiroshima.
Areas for Improvement:
Limited showers: Only three per floor, shared by many guests. At peak times, you might wait over an hour, and by then, the showers can be a bit dirty (e.g., hair left behind).
Laundry bottleneck: Each floor has just one washer and dryer. The dryer is especially slow—it took four 30-minute cycles just to dry six t-shirts.
Vending machines lack variety: No cola or Pepsi—just beer and water. Not a major issue, but worth noting.
Fridge access is inconvenient: The communal fridge is behind reception, meaning you must hand over items to staff. A small fridge on each floor would be much more practical.
Worn-out mattresses: The memory foam mattresses have sunk in from overuse. They haven’t been flipped or replaced, which leads to uncomfortable sleep and back/hip pain.
Final Thoughts:
Despite these downsides, I would stay here again. However, guests should be prepared for some minor inconveniences. If the hotel made a few simple upgrades—like replacing mattresses, improving laundry facilities, and adding accessible fridges—it could easily be one of the best capsule hotels in Hiroshima.
ผผู้เข้าพักInitially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused ”mar” and ”may” in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.
