Dominique was amazing! From the time we arrived to the last minute. Breakfast was great, the bed was comfy and the attention to detail was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

A Great place, incl. Location athmosphere and people. We had a wonderful stay at the guest House. We we're Upgraded to a Suite with perfekt view. Access to Ficks Pool easy across the street. Walking Distance to the City and it s Restaurants and sights. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Recommendable from A to Z.

Hermanus Boutique has one of the best services, bed room are spacious, good place for parking. Staff are helpful and hospitable. The location of the hotel is very good it has a beautiful sea view and a safe place to stay.

Beautiful Guest House in Hermanus. We stayed here feb 27-29. Unfortunately there is ‘load sharing’ at this guest house, (probably at all hotel accommodation to be fair) but it’s pretty inconvenient, from 8 am until 10 am, just when you want to dry your hair, boil a kettle etc and then again at 4 pm until 6 pm. Also very noisy during the night as there is a security guard on duty. Hubby said it disturbed his sleep. The actual gust house is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are very good. The service was quick and the food was nice and hot. There is a pool at the back which was small but perfectly good for a quick dip to cool off. We had lovely views from our front facing room. The bed was VERY comfortable. The guard didn’t disturb me! All in all a good stay.

What a wonderful experience! We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, well equipped rooms. Excellent location within walking distance from all attractions. Safe parking.

It was a beautiful place for our first 2 nights in South Africa Sper well positioned and was great to walk to the city for dinner and to the beach The rooms are beautiful and the staff lovely Great breakfast and happy hour with delicious wine

Not sure this place can be classed as ‘boutique’. However, it must be said that the staff are extremely friendly- Octavia was lovely as was Benjy and the night duty gentleman. Thank you. The guesthouse decor is a little odd- confusing tastes- French style in part and then a bit of kitsch! The view from our room was very beautiful and the bed was comfortable with good linen. Our room had a tired feel to it though- damp in the wall around the plug, which itself was loose. Also, the bathroom has that faint smell of damp and paint chipping off the latch of the sliding door. The parking is also a bit cramped and the first thing one sees is the laundry room- not very inviting as you enter! Also, places should invest in generators- aircon doesn’t work as the guesthouse only has an inverter. In the height of summer that will be a problem.

Just returned from an idyllic week in Hermanus, staying at the Hermanus Boutique Guest House. We had a wonderful stay and everything about the place was great. The room was sea facing with a wonderful view along the coast. .Everything that Marianne, Cody and the rest of the team provided was first class. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the complimentary glass of wine in the evening was perfect for sitting on the balcony watching the sunset. They were also so helpful in planning our time in Hermanus, and we were so sad to be leaving to come home . So thank you to everyone at HBGH and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

What a lovely stay - we were here for a whole week and didn't want to leave. Everything about Hermanus Boutique Guesthouse exudes quality, peacefulness and charm. The breakfasts are lovely, served with appealing garnishes; the staff are delightful especially Marianne who manages with a calm, unflustered dignity. The location is ideal, so close to the fabulous cliff-top path and within easy walking distance of a great seletion of quality restaurants. This guesthouse fully deserves to be successful. David
