From our welcome to departure Stefan and Nicky couldn’t do enough for us. Great venue with exceptional service, the breakfast was delightful. The property is situated in a quiet are. We will certainly be back

Lovely stay here. Stephan was a great host with many great suggestions of restaurants. ( Lemonlicious especially nice if you like fish ) Clean and homely rooms with nice large beds , safe parking and a delicious breakfast that will set you up for the rest of the day . Thank you Stephan for such a lovely stay

What a lovely stay we had with staff and Nicky brilliant hosts amazing breakfast and nothing was to much trouble. We would definitely recommend a stay here !! Thank you !! And by the way the staff were amazing too !!

A warm welcome always awaits at penguino. We stay here every time we come to South Africa. Nikki and Stefan really look after you. The best breakfast ever and continuous power no load shedding!! Felt very secure, gated parking.

We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Penguino. The welcome from Stefan was warm and informative. The room was spacious and comfortable, parking was safe, the breakfast was excellent and the location was great for us. We were able to walk easily into Hermanus and to the harbour. Nicky was very friendly - both hosts work hard to make guests have a relaxed and positive experience. We also loved the dogs!!!!

Thank you to Stefan and Nikki for making our time in Hermanus so special. You are consummate hosts and so knowledgeable about the Hermanus area. We stayed in the lovely Emperor Penguin room which was very comfortable and had its own balcony. Stefan is also an accomplished and talented chef. The breakfast we had was delicious and he has a great variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The highlight of our time in Hermanus was the braai which Stefan created for us - it was one of the best meals we had in our whole time in South Africa - spectacular. Stephen and Luisa

We were most impressed by Penguino and highly recommend for visitors to Hermanus. Stefan and Nikki are exemplary hosts, providing pristine accommodation＞ Expectations exceeded, breakfast in particular was memorable with a daily special. Gluten free offerings were a further high note. We'll definitely be back.

I would strongly recommend Penguino guesthouse as a place to stay. Super comfortable, amazing attention to detail and very well located. However, the standout to a stay here, are the hosts Stefan and Nikki. Their genuine hospitality, kindness and care is truly brilliant. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much. Jonathan and Penny

Stefan & Nikki are fabulous hosts. Penguino is scrupulously clean, the rooms are inviting and spacious, the beds comfy and the showers wonderful. Breakfast was a gourmet experience and my vegan preferences were not an issue & were delicious.
