Was a very great place to stay. The fact that you are not impacted by loadshedding due to solar panels on the roof was a huge positive. The service was great, loved the pool and patio where you could sit and chill-out.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Gables, Rudi the owner was most attentive and helpful. The accommodation is around 15-20 mins walk from the town. The accommodation is well appointed and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would stay here again if in the area

A lovely, comfortable stay with a nice peaceful view with an outlook onto the pool. It has all the necessary kitchen items for some self catering. Very clean and Rudi was very helpful. A nice easy walk to town.

We highly recommend to stay in the Gables. Friendly and warm welcom by our Host Rudi. We stayed in the Family Apartment. It is spacious, overlooking the Garden. Beautiful bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. Situated in walking distance to the Cliff path.

You couldn’t do better than stay at this cosy and comfortable guesthouse in Hermanus. The bedroom is large, pretty and comfortable and opens onto a patio which overlooks the garden and pool. The attached kitchenette cum spare bedroom is well equipped and roomy. The clifftop walk is around five minutes walk away and is a nice way of getting into town if you don’t feel like driving. Rudy and Rita are very kind hosts and always willing to help. The only improvement I could suggest is putting up some sort of shade covering over the car parking spaces as it can get very hot in summer.

We enjoyed a very pleasant two nights at The Gables. Everything was good ! Clean, spacious room, pleasant location and very comfortable bed ! Can recommend it as a nice place to stay in Hermanus ! Friendly & helpful host !

The Gables Guesthouse is beautiful. Very well equipped and clean and not far from the restaurants and beach. The owners Rudi and Robyn are so hospitable and helpful an couldnt do enough for us. Loved our stay and will go back there again.

The Gables is located in a quiet residential street within walking distance of the town centre. The Cliff Path is a stunning walk to and from the centre. The facilities at The Gables are good with lots of nice extras such as milk and biscuits and there is secure on-site car parking.
