The staff at rustic house are the kindest people we have met so far whilst travelling Vietnam they really treat you like family and will go above and beyond. I had a severe life-threatening allergic reaction which led to me being hospitalised and the rustic house team came to the hospital with me helped with translations to the doctor as there was a severe language barrier. They all came and checked on me multiple times throughout my stay at the hospital helped with the payment process and even brought food and water. They even informed the restaurant who poisoned me what had happened so that they can learn and change their menus which I am forever grateful for the kindness they showed me during a very scary time. This situation aside the rooms are beautiful with a lovely view over the water and they are perfectly clean with modern furniture and comfortable beds. The hotel is in a perfect location and the cafe down stairs makes wonderful coffee. There’s no where better to stay in Cat Ba. Thank you! ❤️
