We're staying at Hotel Lex every time we're in the area and can confirm that everybody is being welcomed catered and cared for from the outset. The location is conveniently central and in walking distance from the station. The breakfast is rich and the rooms are larger than normal. Strongly recommended!

If you see fit to pay the former industrial town a visit this is a good place to stay. Comfortable beds, roomy bathroom and a nice breakfast. The reception will help you find your way around should you need it. Try to explore the surroundings, the city centre offers less charms. Recommended.

Hotel Lex is a family-run hotel, where everybody makes you genuinely feel welcome. We've used it many times and look forward to using it again. The cold breakfast buffet, even in times of covid, is generous.

Much cheaper than advertised here (call them). My room was 49€ with breakfast! Quirky (in a good way), very clean, friendly, central location (city center, theater, train station…). Very caring and available team. If you’re on a budget, this is by far the best spot in Hagen.

Kleines Stadt Hotel mit „Zuhause-Gefühl“. Gut belegen mit kurzes laufabstand. Spaziere ab Hauptbahnhof Richtung Theater. Sehr Freundlichen Personal. Zimmermöbel der Achtzigerjahre, aber sehr sauber. Kleinen, aber ausgezeichneten Frühstück mit netter Bedienung. Preis-leistung passt. Bestes Steakhouse der Stadt mit direktem Zugang vom Hotellobby.
