Very poor experience for a hotel of this standard, especially since I booked a larger and more expensive room expecting a better stay.
The room had hygiene issues — I found insects inside and was bitten by mosquitoes during the night. This is unacceptable.
After I reported the issue, I was moved from room to room, including one with a strong smoke smell, which was not acceptable. In a third room, a cockroach was found, and there was also a strong unpleasant odor.
The handling was slow and poorly managed, and the final room change only happened close to 4am. By then, the whole night had already been disrupted and I was unable to rest properly.
In the end, I decided to leave and book another hotel.
Cleanliness and service recovery were both disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.
The hotel is nice and comfortable, but it is far from almost everything. There are no restaurants available, except for breakfast, and that is a bummer. Breakfast is good, staff are nice and friendly, the room I stayed at is spacious and comfortable, albeit a bit dark. Overall, a good experience.
We rented two rooms for a family of 5 adults. The rooms are the biggest we stayed in a Hampton Inn, clean, and all new facilities; excellent shuttle service to the airport. Front desk staff are extremely helpful and polite. They spoke English and Mandarin, not sure if they speak Cantonese. The free breakfast were a mixed of Chinese and Western style, all tasty and healthy.
