Initially, when I arrived at the hotel, I was quite disappointed to learn that it was located far from the city—something I hadn’t realized when booking. While the photos made it look attractive, and the property itself is new and clean, I ended up spending around 150 RMB on round-trip taxi fares. Although this may not seem like a large sum, it was an avoidable expense. Moreover, the hotel is situated in a rather remote area, surrounded by undeveloped land and ongoing construction. During the day, construction noise is noticeable from one side, while traffic sounds are audible from the other. The advertised "diverse breakfast" offered little variety, especially for a foreign guest. I had hesitated to leave a negative review because the staff, including the housekeeping team, were very kind. However, an incident last night compelled me to share my experience. Upon returning to the hotel, I hurried to my room as I needed to use the restroom. From a short distance away, the female hotel manager waved and attempted to start a conversation. I politely acknowledged her but quickly proceeded to my room. To my shock, she used her key card to enter my room without permission in an effort to speak with me. I had already entered the bathroom when I realized she had let herself in. Stunned and unsure how to react, I eventually asked her to leave as I needed privacy. I felt extremely upset and believe my personal space was seriously violated. I have never encountered such an intrusive situation before.
