Absolutely shocking - Felt unsafe and deeply dissatisfied. Firstly, other guests were locked out of their rooms, leaving their dogs trapped inside (continuously barking). Despite their attempts to contact reception for assistance, there was no staff present in the building, and we were informed it would take an unreasonable two hours for help to arrive. The dogs' distress was evident as they barked incessantly, and other guests even tried to kick the door down to reach them, resulting in chaotic scenes of shouting and frustration. Throughout the night, we were constantly disturbed by guests knocking on our door (Room 3, next to reception), seeking our help to resolve the situation despite us being fellow guests rather than staff members. This made it incredibly difficult to get any sleep, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and disarrayed. Additionally, I was alarmed to discover that some guests could access rooms that were not theirs by using key cards obtained from behind the reception desk (as there were no staff present!!), which raised serious concerns about the security of the premises. The next morning, when I voiced my concerns to Thomas at reception, the situation worsened when he called Tony (the owner). Tony's response was shockingly disrespectful, dismissing my complaints and even resorting to name-calling. Despite my calm demeanour, he raised his voice and denied the absence of staff on the premises, despite us calling the reception & mobile number and waiting alongside other guests for help. It felt incredibly unfair that disruptive guests causing chaos were not charged for the room, yet I was denied a refund for the appalling experience. Overall, my £70 for the night was a complete waste, as I endured a sleepless night and encountered appalling customer service. I would strongly advise against staying at this B&B, as it was a dreadful experience I would not wish upon anyone.

I booked into this place and paid for it 3 weeks before I traveled. I was at Glasgow airport picking up my car when someone from the hotel rang me to tell me that the room had been flooded and there was no rooms available. I asked him. What do you think I should do? And was told the best thing is find another room. The worst customer service I've ever experienced, the least they could have done would be to have made inquiries about local establishments where I could stay. If that is their attitude before you check in, I would never go to this place personally again

100% NOT recommended, cant review the place because they cancelled my booking! Booked 2 rooms on a weds for a 1 night stay a day later, got a call on Thus afternoon, sorry we are over booked, I was four hours from home working away, I then tried to claim my money back via *********** to be told the Onslow B&B said they can accommodate you a day after the actual booking, I've read so many reviews since how many other people they have done this to, I am 100% taking this further so it doesn't happen to anyone else

This is a great wee guest house not fancy just a great place to sleep after a days shopping in Glasgow. The manager is helpful and chatty makes a great breakfast too. The rooms are basic but clean beds are comfy too. Great value for money . I'd stay here again.

This is an unpretentious bed and breakfast in Dennistoun, a little east of the city centre. It is suitable for budget conscious travellers so don't expect the Ritz! I had no problem with check-in or room. Breakfast cooked to order (extra £)

There is always an old man sat watching what you do in the canteen.. then becomes aggressive when using the FREE coffee machine.. there was dog or cat poo in the room.. another guest let themselves into our room drunk.. the towels got change once in 5 day.. I would definitely book elsewhere

Book anywhere else. Didn't complete a full stay. The room was fairly dreary, but that wasn't even the issue. Half an hour after check in, someone let themselves in to the room while we were sitting in it. Upon trying to lock the door to room 5, we realised this was not an option, anyone with a key card can let themselves in. Spoke with the manager, who instantly became aggressive advising there was nothing he could do. After a 3-5 minute 'Conversation' with the guy he advised that another room was available. Had this been offered upfront there would have been no issue, but to be offered a room with the preface "don't come moaning to me when it's too noisy for you" didn't give me much confidence in the safety on our stay. The owner is an absolute joke and honestly is not the type of person I'd want to give my money to. Currently have an ongoing complaint with *********** to hopefully get the money back that was paid for this whole unpleasant experience.

Well, it seems you can book a room at this craphole online regardless if they are fully booked or not. The so-called management are quite happy to your money and literally turn you away. It was quite embarrassing for the girl on the desk.. wether thats an act or not, i dont know now! This night ended with me sleeping in my car with my son at a service station.. Is this the kind of thing you want to deal with after a 400 mile drive? If not, then stay away from booking here. (i will add that as i was in the property, another chap came to book a room, he was turned away obviously but before he left, he said there was availability online)

I stayed here for a few weeks when working . And the staff were really helpful and the food was delicious would definitely stay here again . Really happy with the service and the rooms are clean and nice tidy on suite bathroom
