I had one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced at Macdonald Crutherland House. The room was in very poor condition. The bathroom was completely flooded due to a leaking shower — water was everywhere on the floor, creating a slipping hazard. There was mould all around the window, which is unacceptable and a health concern. On top of that, the TV didn’t work at all. This was especially disappointing because there was an England vs Mexico match on, and I couldn’t watch it. I complained to the receptionist immediately, but nothing was done — no repairs, no room change, no assistance whatsoever. The issues remained for the entire stay. The hotel failed on basic cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. I would not recommend this property to anyone and will definitely not be returning. Avoid this hotel.

A really lovely hotel with friendly staff, great service and a very convenient location close to plenty of restaurants. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, although there were moments that felt slightly Fawlty Towers — in the nicest possible way! 😂 That said, the little quirks only added to the character of the place. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and I’d happily return. Great value, good service and plenty of personality!

Very old hotel and facilities and the services are very basic. Possible good priced so many tour group stays. Luckily we are only one night stay in transact to other hotels, so it works for us.

I really couldn't fault this hotel for the price we paid. Every staff member we encountered were friendly, professional and very courteous. The food at breakfast was very good with a choice of pastries, cereals, fruit and a good selection of hot buffet including good quality bacon and sausages, scrambled egg, beans, potato scone, and mushrooms. Tea or coffee and toast is served to you at your table. The leisure facilities were a bonus with a good size pool, sauna and steam room. We didn't make use of the spa facilities but it looked like a very nice place to have a treatment. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable bed and pillows and an amazing shower. All in all we would definitely stay again and try other hotels in the Macdonald chain.

Everything was nice, however, i couldn’t help but notice that the decor of the inside of the hotel seemed a little tired and old. Staff were great, hotel was clean, however you could see old stains on the carpet and i just felt that this could be improved. Other than that, the grounds are lovely, the staff were amazing and the whole experience was smooth!

Hotel is a little dated, rooms could do with modernising. There were a few broken fixtures in the bathroom that feels easy to fix like the shower head. Bar staff were good. Overall not worth the high price.

外觀看着很好，內部設施比較陳舊。尤其我們帶着很多行李，單人間彎彎繞繞在最邊角的地方，樓梯上上下下很不方便。前台服務態度還可以，衹是不會再來了，價格並不多便宜

房間乾淨，有英倫風格，服務員周到細緻，體驗感非常好！這裏的環境清晰優雅，被幾百畝綠地環繞，游泳池温度適宜。

地方比較偏，適合開車入住。但其他條件還可以，早餐很好吃，位置因為相對較偏所以自然環境很好！
