Reception staff were very helpful- sorted out the TV for the Euro's final 😃 and sorted bike rental and car parking.
All the staff were particularly friendly and helpful at this Clarion

Perfect place to stay in Gavle. Close to everything, clean, comfortable. And the included breakfast is just amazing - don't forget to try the waffles !! The only critic would be that it was quite too warm in the room, and it was difficult to get some fresh air inside. But otherwise it was great and we would come back.

The room was really nice, stylish, clean and fresh. Luxurious feel, good temperature. Cleaning was excellent and the TV-remote even had a plastic cover which is appreciated.
The breakfast was really poor though. Usually Clarion is quite good but it feels like they use the pandemic to cut down the breakfast cost.
Very little variation and few options, no good fruits, no good juices, no different jams, no waffles, no good variation in cereals or yoghurt, and so on. And on top of that it was super crowded despite requiring pre-booking due to the pandemic.
Went to a gas station on the way out of town and got a proper sandwich each instead.
