Overall good experience. Front desk was nice and helpful and answered all the questions we had for the stay. Not a lot of amenities although there's room for improvement there. No coffee pods inside the room while there's a coffee machine inside? Makes no sense. Elevator needs service as it's jumpy sometimes and doesn't feel great riding it. Cleaning was decent but my room didn't get cleaned when I was there for two nights. Shower head was way too low and barely had pressure. My recommendations is worry more about costumer service inside the room. A small basket of local things for the foreigners and travelers to learn more about local culture and foods and such would be a nice touch. Work with local restaurants to offer discounts if staying at that specific hotel and offer coupons to bring there would be a good thing to introduce. Washroom shower heads need replacement and improvement. Overall 3.5 stars due to location, front desk service and quality of stay but plenty of room for improvement.

The place was awesome but they don't regularly make up rooms. You have to call front desk to request in advance. We stayed there for 3 nights.

Very kind and helpful staff, but the room itself was kind of old and run down. The carpet seemed dirty so we all kept our shoes on during the stay. No slippers available for guests to wear, which was disappointing.

The location is great and the place is clean. It gets the job done, and the facilities look new from the outside. However, the interior feels outdated and could use a redesign to meet 2026 standards. In terms of value, it’s decent—you more or less get what you pay for.

I had a short one-night trip to Ottawa and stayed at the Best Western Plus Ottawa-Gatineau Downtown. The location was great—close to Ottawa’s main attractions, yet in a quieter area across the bridge, away from the busy downtown. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. However, the room amenities were quite basic, which matches its more affordable price. Still, there are some convenient options on the RC floor, like access to water, hot water, coffee, and a microwave. Overall, it’s a good choice for a short and budget-friendly stay near downtown Ottawa.

Best things are the view and the staff. Amazing location too. Very close to the walking bridge connecting Gatineau to Ottawa. Staff super polite, friendly, and helpful. Ambience too poorly looking with a smell of cleaning products that stinks. Linen were washed but a drop of blood stain on it (just throw out the damn thing). Also, too expensive for what it offers with no chance to cancel or modify. Wouldn't recommend

Ein sehr gut ausgestattetes Hotel und nur über die Brücke ins Zentrum. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption alle freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein funktionierendes smart-tv mit Screen mirroring machte das Erlebnis perfekt.
