I’m not sure what rooms people stayed in to review this hotel wonderful but it is far from that. Yes if you just want to experience the nostalgia great but the rooms are much smaller than the pics and you can barely turn around in the bathroom. I’m only 120# 5”6” tall! Mattress almost sinks to the floor and not comfortable at all. I’ve always wanted to stay here during my travels across the country and this was a one and done experience! Sorry I’ve stayed at better super 8s than this

What a great place to stay! Love the beautiful historic ambiance. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Yes the bathrooms are small but is is definitely made up for in character of this gem. I would definitely stay here again.

Was disappointed that we we not assigned to a room in the original building but when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised with it. The Route 66 theme was very nice and the record player with old albums was a great touch. Felt like we we transported back in time in a good way.

We loved the hotel, hated how small the bathroom was. We understand its old so we accepted it. The staff are so nice and friendly. My wife and i sat by the fire while surfing the net. I will stay here again.

Very cool theme to the room. I especially liked the record player. Ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, both of which were okay. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Toilet seat was coming off but management made a note about it to fix it when I told them upon checkout. Very nice lobby with big fireplace. Motel room was noisy from the road and people slamming car doors outside.

It’s great place, very cleaned and safe. However the freeway and traffic around are heavy, so its loud even at night. The heater is noisy too.

We loved it... What a classic hotel! Everyone was so friendly, the hotel is pet friendly, which was a huge plus for us and the room was lovely, the Kirk Douglas room. We enjoyed the warm decor, the roaring fireplace and then took advantage of the gift shop with the best prices for Navajo jewelry, we have seen. We had a great breakfast in the restaurant and got on our way. WE will definitely seek to stay again on our trek from Colorado to AZ and back... Thank you El Rancho and amazing staff.
