The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location, and the staff were generally helpful when problems were reported. However, unfortunately, our stay was affected by several serious issues. First, the electrical system in our original room completely failed, leaving the room without electricity and forcing us to change rooms. Later, we used the hotel’s laundry service and one of our garments was returned damaged and stained. We reported the issue to the hotel, and they acknowledged the problem and offered compensation, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, during the same night, the replacement room presented another serious issue. While it was raining outside, water started leaking through the wooden ceiling directly above the bed, with drops falling onto the bed during the night. We therefore had to contact reception again and change rooms for a second time. The hotel eventually moved us to a much larger suite, which was in excellent condition. We appreciated the upgrade and the staff’s response to the immediate situation. Nevertheless, having to change rooms twice because of serious maintenance problems, in addition to an issue with the laundry service, is simply too much for a single stay. The property itself is very attractive and the location is excellent, but the maintenance and quality control clearly need improvement. The hotel has many positive qualities, but our overall experience was significantly affected by these repeated problems. A beautiful hotel in a great location, but unfortunately our stay was far more problematic than it should have been.

Nice chinese courtyard stay. Convenience to fuzhou eatery along the area. Walking distance to big malls and Metro Line.

Pretty hotel in pretty old ancient buildings. Lots of high curbs in the hotel. The staffs were very helpful with our luggage. Every corner of the hotel looks pretty and photogenic. The welcome tea is nice! The hotel lobby with wooden high ceiling is so impressive and pretty. The tea rooms that we can choose to have our breakfast are pretty and aircon cooling too. The hotel room looks so much better than the pictures in their booking site. High ceiling, warm note and comes with a comfortable soothing wooden smell. The bathroom comes with ancient look door with wooden planks and in btw can be look through, but overall looks new and clean. Amazed by the bidet toilet in the ancient wooden setting. Its a good mix of modern and ancient in the most appropriate way. We almost didn't feel like leaving the hotel. Bathtub outside looks so pretty as well, especially on rainy days and early mornings, but we were worried about the mosquitos. The hotel is 1 minute away from the main shopping/touristy street, and you can get all the teas and gifts from there. Note that the hotel is located far from the main road. Nearest road side for dropoff and boarding is at the Starbucks, which sometimes seems far when you are tired and seems near when you leave the hotel for the day. About 8 mins walk away i think. There are little shops along the way as well. And the street looks super cool at night with all the lanterns along the way. As mentioned earlier, the hotel staffs gladly helped you with your luggage to the boarding point. Overall great experience! Love it!

Everything was great. I had a great stay there. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Was served different foods for both days. Highly recommended! Location is excellent!

I absolutely loved my stay at Anmin Hotel. Nestled within the cultural heart of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, the location was perfect for immersing myself in Fuzhou’s heritage and charm. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond, even assisting me with my Taobao purchases and making everything so much easier as a solo traveler. To my surprise, they also offered 2x complimentary breakfast for all three nights of my stay, which was a lovely gesture. I checked in on a weekday and managed to get a very good rate, making the experience even better value for money. Between the beautiful heritage setting, warm hospitality, and thoughtful service, Anmin Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Fuzhou.

Excellent customer service, friendly staff that goes above and beyond. Free laundry service at site. Located just in the center of SanFangQiXiang. Love the vibe! Their breakfast is also a highlight, various kinds of local traditional breakfast. We would definitely come back again.

Amazing experience! The staff is so kind and friendly, the language barrier was not a problem at all. They helped us 24/7, always available to talk on we chat and everything was super easy for us thanks to their willingness to help at all times. The rooms and the vibe is impeccable, a great Chinese experience, an oasis amidst the chaos of the city, a great escape in the middle of the city. We were sad we couldn’t stay more. We totally recommend.

Overall a really good stay in an old historical building, a great experience you won't get anywhere else! A butler service is included when you check in and out, where they help you pull your luggages to and fro your taxi location. The place itself is clean and cozy, and very close by to multiple food and souvenir shops! Secondly, the breakfast is beautiful and splendid! The service is really good as well, as we have to check out early on the last day, the staff also packed breakfast for us to eat on the way to the airport. And also always accomodating to our requests (like getting more bottled water, etc haha). The hotel package also includes free tea tasting and dressing up in traditional wear (which my family did not do but I wish we did!) Lastly, there is laundry service (wash and dry), but it does take a bit of time (eg: clothes are mostly done only after 8pm even if we place the clothes out around 8-9am). Maybe one thing is to let us know the estimated time it will be done ^^. But overall, I love the stay, breakfast, the kind staff, the beautiful accommodation and the hotel cat, xiaoxi!!

The hotel itself is a protected monument, very beautiful. The decorations show a good taste in high art. Light architecture is also very smart. Located in the heart of the three lanes seven alleys district where no car is permitted inside, we must continue on foot a little bit more than 100m. Hotel staffs helped out with luggages though. The staffs are very attentive and helpful. They responded Wechat almost promptly. I would say they offer a service of a 6 stars hotel. Late check-out is possible. Complementary fruits, afternoon tea and also hanfu costume rental.

Butler service was provided and they have been a great help for me during my stay here. However, the location of the hotel is slightly located within 三坊七巷 so the roads are not very friendly for luggage. Plus side, it’s near the Heart Tree.

We stayed here for a week back in May/June! The location is right in the heritage area, making it super easy to walk to all the major sights in 三坊七巷. However if you’re traveling with kids or elderly family members: cars can’t drop you off directly at the doorstep, so plan for a short 5 to 7-minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bed was a tad soft for our personal liking. The room partitions also let in a bit of sound (we could occasionally hear others playing music), but it was mostly quiet, didn't bother us, and certainly didn't affect our stay! A huge plus point was the in-room breakfast every morning—it was delicious with different menu. Communicating with the staff via WeChat was also seamless and convenient too. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming, convenient stay in the heritage district!

This is the greatest experience in Sanfang Qixiang, great location, wonderful service, and the pet cat was the best hoster. I'd love to come back and visit it again!

If you are interested in staying in an old traditional style Chinese house, this hotel delivers! Nicely renovated but still retained all the charms of an ancient Chinese house. The locals can be a bit loud, do ask for a quiet room away from the main courtyard. A WeChat account as well as a translation App is a must!
