Hotel Villa Frigiliana

Had a lovely stay at this pretty, clean, friendly hotel. The manager and all the staff were efficient, helpful with info, and very friendly. Beautiful rooms with a little balcony overlooking the town and distant hills. A wonderful little town.

Frigiliana is a beautiful white village worth a short visit. The hotel is set in a good location and is spacious and relatively modern. It has recently been renovated. The rooms are comfortable but rather basic. The balconies are fine but unusable during the day due to the heat. There are no sun shades or cover which would make them an extension of the bedroom area where there is no seating. As this is a Spanish hotel, there are no facilities for coffee or tea Making. The beds are comfortable and a request for four soft Pillows was met and they were very good. The bathroom is relatively modern although the toilet was very close to the basin which would Mean that anyone who was on the larger side, might have difficulty using it. One soap dispenser was by the shower and a small bar of soap provided. The main hotel is large and there is an enormous dining room which wasn’t in use except for breakfast which was charged at 8 euros per person if not in the room price. We didn’t use this there were cafes and bars nearby. There were no common seating area which we could see and no bar at the time we visited. The staff were extremely helpful and hospital and very welcoming. The multi story car park is opposite the hotel and is priced at ten euros a day. The hotel advertises a pool. This is a total joke. It is a plunge pool and is overlooked by the road to the side of it. There is no shade at all and room for around 8/10 Sunbeds. I would not recommend this hotel for anything but a bed to relax on after traipsing all over the village. Luckily there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby that serve reasonable food.

Beautifully clean hotel. Delightful reception staff. West facing bright rooms . Would have benefitted with a bar. However our visit was off season and would not have been economical at this time . It is basically the only hotel in the village unless one wants to drag suitcases of clothes and belongings up steep inclines. Ideal for short drive to Nerja . Well situated for large eating places Directly opposite reasonably priced car park.

I would recommend ear plugs (I would recommend this for every hotel if you have a very quiet room at home). The hotel was good value. Frigiliana can't be beat for a quaint place with beautiful views.

Having stayed in Villa Flamenca, this hotel’s sister property in Nerja, Villa Frigliana had a lot to live up to! Happy to say it did! Central location, perfect for exploring beautiful Frigliana. Lots of really good cafés and restaurants nearby. Hotel decor is traditionally Spanish, which we loved. Rooms spotless, nice balcony views over the town. Mini bar with all drinks €1, so reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Although hotel was fully booked it was lovely and quiet, we had the pool area to ourselves most of the time. We enjoyed everything about our stay here, would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

2nd half of my holiday spent at this lovely hotel at other end of Village. Typical Spanish, with such lovely friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms, high quality soft bed, as requested and excellent interior and high standards. The breakfast is set out with a lot of choices, but no hot food/eggs etc which I would have liked but used to this in Spanish hotels. Added joy was swimming pool given the Aug heat. Although I would think about putting some kind of screening ( fixed sails) over the 'pool area' to stop people looking over wall from street above, other than that lovely area. Would stay again.

This hotel is in a excellent location in between the old and new town restaurants and bars close by We had lovely room on the 2nd floor spotlessly clean and all drinks and snacks in the mini bar were 1 euro. The staff were excellent very knowledgeable about Frigliana and recommended some excellent restaurants We organised a transfer to Malaga airport through reception for 4am taxi was there waiting for us Swimming pool was excellent and comfy sun beds Would recommend this hotel for a holiday in Frigliana

This was our choice of place to stay for just the one night and it served its purpose brilliantly. It is an older hotel but comfortable and the staff very helpful indeed. Location – perfect it is right on the edge of the old town and very easy to find by road. Everything is walking distance and it really couldn’t be better. There is a multi story car park straight opposite but we just dropped the cases off and parked on the street a couple of hundred metres away free of charge for our entire stay. Rooms – we paid for a superior room which proved to be a good choice. It’s actually had two sitting out areas which was brilliant to watch the sunset and sunrise and enjoy a glass of wine whilst doing so. The air-conditioning was just about good enough and the bed quite comfortable. There were hot drinks making facilities and a safe but I think you needed to buy the key from reception for this. The bathroom had everything you needed and, if you open the windows, you’ve got a wonderful view of the village and the mountains which was a bonus. Wi-Fi – free of charge for unlimited devices another decent standard. It reached just about everywhere in the hotel except the pool. Food – there is a nice restaurant in the hotel but so many others in the village we didn’t bother with it. We did have breakfast though which was surprisingly good to say it was a buffet. Good quality coffee and juice and nice meat and cheese as well. Pool area – only quite small but very comfortable and we used it quite a bit. Great views of course!.

Het hotel is gunstig gelegen in Frigiliana. Vanhieruit is het mooie dorpje goed te bereiken Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer is schhon en ruikt fris. Hebben kunnen boeken voor een mooie prijs. Mooi uitzicht. Parkeergarage op 50m.
