Although there were some minor issues with employee attitudes and the lack of the bar consistently being open, the stay here was amazing. The fountain-pool, although it can be cold, and breakfast were enjoyable. The rooms were neatly organized and provided adequate space to walk around. Most downstairs units have patio doors which allow you to sit outside and enjoy listening to the waterfall pool. The front desk staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hospitality crew is mostly Spanish speaking, so it would be helpful if you are bilingual or have a translator ready. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel.
I used to stay at this location years ago with my old firm and recently returned for a business trip. I had flight issues which delayed my arrival by a day and when I called to let them know, Leslie graciously acknowledged my Platinum status and allowed me to cancel that night with no penalty as a one-time courtesy, which I was not expecting since I was past the window for changes/cancellations. Upon (finally) arriving, I noticed that the hotel had undergone a facelift since my last stay. Still your standard Courtyard, but they did a nice job updating the hotel given what they had to work with. The front-desk staff was just as accommodating as I remembered and my room was clean and comfortable.
Upon checking in, the hotel was nice and clean. The staff greeted me immediately and was really nice. Evelyn took care of me and got me checked in and showed me where to park closest to my room. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. In the morning they had a buffet for breakfast, it was a nice variety of foods that was always stocked up and delicious. Christian was great and even offered to help me get my plate to my table while I waited for my toast to be toasted. Pretty cool place. I would definitely stay here again.
Had to book this hotel last minute after another changed my reservation unexpectedly. The service at the front desk was great. Parking was easy. Room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was what I'd expect at a Homewood Suites. TV signal was on the fritz for a little bit but resolved itself pretty quickly. There were only 2 towels in the suite but it was easy enough to go down and grab extra. I liked that the front desk had board games you could rent out for free. Overall this was a pleasant and easy stay for my family during our short trip to Fresno.
I have stayed here multiple times over the last 2 years for work and everything is always great. Always warm welcome from the front desk team when checking in, the rooms are generously sized, very comfortable beds and great AC, I like a cold room! My go-to hotel when I’m in town for Business.
Very good nights sleep. Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast area was nicer than most other hotels. Did not use the pool, so can't comment on that. TV didn't have many options and shut off on me once. Only complaint everything else was great...
ผผู้เข้าพักI’ve stayed at Fairfield Inns several times in Canada, but this was my first time in the US. When I first walked into the room, there was a very strong chemical smell that I found totally unpleasant and overwhelming. It only dissipated by keeping the window open almost all of the time during my 4-day stay. The other major issue is that there weren’t enough light sources. The room was rather dark, especially at night. The only overhead light in the room was the one near the door, and it was on a timer. So, I had to stand up every 15 minutes to switch it back on. There was a reading lamp and a strange object below it that could have been an ottoman since it had no back. I would have loved a reading chair in the room. Instead, there was this weird ottoman-like thing without a back that didn’t function as a chair. Perhaps it was just a spot to place a suitcase. I have no idea. The walls were very thin, as I could hear my neighbor’s TV quite loudly all the time they were in the room. In addition, I really would have liked a safe in the room. On the plus side, the walk-in shower was great and the breakfast was very good. I send a shout-out to Tony, the person who checked me in. He was extremely good-natured and helpful. I wish all employees at hotels were like him. Overall, this hotel was a mixed bag, especially with regard to the room odour. I would probably try another hotel if I were to come back to town.
GGreg LPretty typical Hampton Inn experience, clean, comfortable, safe, nice staff. The location is very good, a quiet area surrounded by medical offices and several other similar hotels. It is right off the 41 freeway but far enough away to not hear any traffic noise. There are several shopping centers just on the other side of the freeway including a movie theater, many food options, and a Costco. A good neighborhood for sure. A few minor complaints: The air conditioning fan was very noisy; There is little sound insulation between rooms - the family next door speaking in a normal volume sounded as if they could have been in our room; We had no TV signal due to some technical issues that day. The Hilton corporation should have technicians on-call to fix such issues. We want our TV entertainment before we go to sleep. It was still not working when we checked out the next day. Minor complaints aside, we liked this hotel and will likely stay here next time we visit Fresno.
ผผู้เข้าพักThis hotel has construction, and we were only told upon check-in to expect an 'inconvenience.' The noise beginning early in the morning on Monday, the second night of our stay, was absolutely unbearable, and ruined our morning on the day of preparation for a relatives funeral. Literally sounded like a jackhammer on the wall outside our room. They’re doing stonework. There's dust flying everywhere. There's loose plaster on the carpet in the elevators and the hallways. Construction workers come and go in the elevators alongside customers with all their equipment and mess and noise. There's an operating cherrypicker in the registration area of the parking lot with no safety cones. You walk out the East guest door on the first floor into a total hardhat situation with people doing stonework on ladders overhead, construction material blocking the exit, and the door is usually propped open all day. I politely told the front desk that we unfortunately needed to check out 2 days early due to the noise, and requested a late checkout to 3pm because we had appointments at the church, and funeral home, and hadn't planned to have to change hotels today. Note that I'm a platinum member, and didn't expect this to be an issue whatsoever given the unusual circumstances. I was denied, and asked for the manager, who promptly flatly denied my request with literally the rudest most uncaring expression and flat tone possible. I reinstated my request and attempted to explain my situation, and the manager admitted that the hotel was not booked (obviously because my room was already spoken for for 2 more nights), but still, she flatly denied me. She finally told me it was because the hotel could experience 'loss of revenue.' So I'm here to tell you that if revenue is more important than customer experience or showing compassion to a customer you placed in a difficult situation, I will no longer be staying at La Quinta. I'll certainly never step foot in this one again, in a town I visit every month. And I’ll be demanding a full refund from La Quinta Platinum Customer Service, let’s see where that gets me. I also recommend anyone else over the next few months seriously reconsider. I don't care about your loss of revenue. Close this place, finish it up, and reopen. With a new manager. There are several really nice hotels with similar rates in the immediate area.
HHowerdIt's new facility and room are modem design, except road vehicle noise can hear a few times that is perfect stay.
Location is good, you can walk to Target nearby.
