Overall, we loved our stay at the hotel and would gladly return. Pros ● Beautiful room (we were upgraded to a lovely suite). ● Beautiful location with a lake and scenic surroundings. ● Very good food, especially the breakfast. ● Wonderful, well-cared-for barn animals on the property. ● Excellent tranquility massage. ● Friendly and helpful staff. ● A delicious loaf of bread provided at departure (one of the best breads I’ve ever tasted). Cons ● Several pools were closed for renovations or maintenance during our stay, and some showers were also out of service. ● In the large pool, about half of the hydromassage jet beds were not operating on workdays. They worked when we arrived on Sunday but remained off for the rest of our stay. ● Hotel guests can use the pool area before check-in, which is a great benefit. However, it was not immediately clear where the lockers for hotel guests were located, as they are separate from those used by day visitors. Better signage or clearer instructions would be helpful. ● Drinks at dinner were not included in the half-board package, which is understandable. However, we were surprised that even tap water was charged separately, as this is uncommon in Austria. ● Spa towels are available for hotel guests, but they can only be collected from the hotel reception desk or the sauna area, which does not open until 2:00 p.m. on weekdays. It would be more convenient if towels were also available at the hotel pool area.

A wonderful and spacious spa hotel surrounded by beautiful nature. The spa and sauna areas are fantastic, with a variety of sauna rituals. The room was beautiful and comfortable, food was excellent, and everything was spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended — we enjoyed every moment!

Great stay! Everything went smooth and nice. Stuff was very friendly, food was very good - especially breakfast, room spacious and clean.

the atmosphere is nice. The place is quiet, there is no noise, no screaming children, etc. What I didn't like at all was the food which was cold and stale. disgusting smell and considering that I'm still there in the area of ​​the thermal baths, I also have stomach pains. I think that for that money everything should be extra... but it isn't. Unfortunately So that’s why only three stars

A fantastic stay. We really enjoyed the new lake spa for hotel guests

Firstly, I want to acknowledge the exceptional service and atmosphere provided by the Spa resort. The attention to detail and the dedication of the staff truly made our stay memorable. However, there were several aspects of our visit that did not meet our expectations. To begin, we had booked a massage therapy session as part of our relaxing getaway at the esteemed establishment. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, we were informed that the massage appointment was not available due to unforeseen circumstances. This was disappointing as it was a significant component of our visit. Furthermore, despite numerous attempts to reach out to the resort and the Head office via email, we have not received any communication from the company. This lack of response has been quite frustrating, as we were hoping for a resolution to our concerns. Additionally, on our final night, we encountered an unpleasant group of individuals during our dinner. They made inappropriate comments and made my wife feel uncomfortable. We decided to leave the veranda bar and take precautions to ensure our safety, as we suspected we might be followed. It was disheartening to witness that at least one member of staff was providing them with alcohol, despite their disruptive behaviour. Overall, while the facilities and food at St. Martins Spa Resort were fantastic, these incidents have marred our experience. We believe it is crucial to address these concerns promptly and find a satisfactory resolution. As guests, we hope that they can provide us with an explanation for the unfulfilled massage booking and the lack of communication from the company. Additionally, we have requested a proposed solution to rectify these unfortunate situations and restore our faith in the exceptional service that St. Martins Spa Resort is known for. We have asked that the Spa keep us informed of any progress made and provide a proposed solution within a reasonable timeframe. Open communication and a fair resolution are essential to ensure the satisfaction of all parties involved. We hope that our faith with the St Martins resort will be restored. I shall write an update if/when a response is received from the Spa or its parent company.

Perfect stay!

Wir hatten wieder einen herrlichen Urlaub in der Martinstherme: Safari, Sauna, See, SUP-fahren, Yoga, Massage, Hühner füttern und Spazieren … alles war dabei. Und auch das Essen war wie immer hervorragend.

Also eigentlich geht es nicht besser. Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in der St. Martin Therme und im Hotel genießen dürfen. Natürlich hatten wir auch Glück mit dem Wetter also Ende Mai perfekt. Das Angebot der Freizeitmöglichkeiten absolut ausreichend. Kulinarisch wurden wir ebenfalls vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen ausreichend verwöhnt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich - meine Frau hatte Geburtstag und bekam ein kleines Überraschungsgeschenk in Form eines Muffins. Sehr aufmerksam und lieb und gut angekommen… Wir möchten uns für diesen perfekten Aufenthalt nochmals recht herzlich bedanken.
