Great hotel in a really nice area. Plenty of parking, big rooms and a good breakfast area. I also used the little pool which was always quiet and relaxing. Berry Farms is about 10mins drive from Franklin so easily accessible, there are also lots of facilities at Berry Farms too though, restaurants, gas stations and a lovely supermarket. Just want to give a special Thank You to Teri on the front desk though. From the moment we arrived to the time we left 3 days later she was so kind, helpful and just lovely. Thank you, you made our stay.
Stayed one night during a road trip. The location is a good one, right off the highway, but it's a bit confusing to find the entrance. Check-in was quick and efficient. It was a little off-putting when we noticed the hallways were filled with food odors. I think this is used as an extended stay hotel by many people. We met a guest in the elevator who was holding his laundry basket and told us he had been there a month. Our room was clean (with a little bit of a food odor in the kitchen area) and not too worn. The TV remotes didn't work, but 'Hernan', front desk employee, was quick to bring up a new remote and be sure it worked. He was very kind and cheerful though he seemed to be a one-man show as he was the only employee working. (?) Breakfast was OK - happy that the dining area opened at 6:30 AM. Eggs, fruit, toast, bacon, etc. - standard fare for hotels these days but that's all we needed.
My family loves staying at this embassy when we come to TN to visit family. However, this last time I needed to extend my room so my elderly and limited-mobility mother would not have to wait in the lobby while from 11am-3pm while I finished my work day. She was watching my infant in the room. I was told by a very inconsiderate front desk worker that there was no way she could give me late check out because they were in the negative on our room type. She told me I would have to move out of the room and pay for a full day in a different room. Disappointed I returned to my room. The next morning I went back to the front desk to double check and two very pleasant front desk workers quickly extended my room with no hesitation and let me know it’s only $50 and would be much cheaper than paying for another day. Magically at check out the inconsiderate desk worker was back at the desk so I let her know I would be reporting her behavior. She proceeded to tell me that the other employee did the wrong thing and she was right. Then my bill on my room started to raise with random room rate increases after I had already checked out. I think this terrible employee saw that my room was extended and decided to mess with my bill. This is the worst embassy experience I have ever had.
This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants. They offered a free dinner on Tuesday night and free breakfast each morning. The hotel personnel are very nice and very welcoming on arrival. We did have a problem with the water temperature in our shower but they handled that immediately after we informed them. My one big disappointment was their bed! It was a king bed but fell to a gully in the middle! It was not comfortable and my husband ended up on the sofa. Their pillows need replacing also as they had a sweaty head smell. If they address these issues, which are big ones, it would be a good hotel. Afterall the job of a hotel is to offer a good night’s sleep. Without a good bed, it is difficult to rest well. We also noticed the carpeting near the elevator was worn so perhaps a redo of this hotel is needed at this time. Marriott is a good brand so I hope they will listen and address these concerns.
Terrible!!! A simple one night stay has turned into weeks of headache; from being counseled to the party policy extensively at checkin (solo traveler) to no water in lobby; was told could purchase their Aquafina - i dont Like Aquafina so said no problem I’ll run to store quick; food got delivered when ran to gas station - front desk girl put phone on hold to yell at me for having food delivered, knowing i had Gone to gas station to get water. Surprise!!!! Upon checkout they charged me $300 for “smoking” - wasn’t alerted until called questioning the charge. Front desk refused to transfer myself or Hyatt corporate to a manager. Assistant manager got back 12 days later after multiple emails requesting response. Their story has changed 10 times because the fact is I DONT SMOKE!!!! Hyatt corporate opened a case, submitted complaint about front desk refusing to escalate, and advised i should Submit written proof of lack of smoking; i submitted A lease and multiple other hotel stays, assistant manager keeps making up random rules to support her case. Th fact is i dont Smoke, i didnt Smoke on their property, and she is claiming there was a smell from inside the room. I guess I should take the absentee assistant managers word for it. If you would like to resolve an issue with them; just go to better business bureau. Worst property I’ve ever stayed at.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhile this hotel is clean and safe and the front desk staff are amazing, the housekeeping staff is very inconsiderate. At 7 am each morning, weekdays and weekends in July and they are SO loud in the halls, screaming down the hall to one another, playing music, singing etc. I’ve overheard them waking families with kids and small babies next door. The babies are inconsolable because of the loud noise and are now crying nonstop. The posted quiet time is until 9 am. It is not the place to stay if you have children and are vacationing in hopes of relaxing.
I really enjoyed my stay at Homes2suites in Franklin. The location was great with a mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Nice lobby, with plenty of sofas, chairs and tables, and exercise room, pool and outdoor area with fireplace. The hotel was clean and the staff attentive with one of the staff members, I believe her name was Abby, exceedingly professional, courteous and kind. One suggestion would be to repair the broken tiles in the elevator. Other than that A+.
