"I stayed nine nights at this hotel, eight on the second floor and one on the fifth. The fifth floor is definitely more pleasant, with a more open hallway and a balcony, which the second floor lacks. It's also worth noting that the black carpet in the second-floor room had large stains, giving the impression of poor maintenance. The bedding, however, is very good and guarantees a comfortable sleep. Upon arrival in my room, I was pleasantly surprised to find a welcome note, some small welcome cakes, and a bottle of water (simple but much appreciated touches). A few drawbacks: the bath towels are very thin, small, and worn, falling short of the expected comfort. Shower gel and hand soap were provided just before my departure. On the evening of my arrival around 9:30 p.m., after a flight, I received a very warm welcome from the competent and extremely friendly staff at reception. I was able to have dinner at the hotel, which was very welcome after the journey. A big thank you to David M. for his kindness and availability throughout my stay (it's always a pleasure to be able to speak French). The breakfast buffet is excellent, varied, and plentiful. I also had dinner at the hotel several evenings. Meals are also served buffet-style in a spacious and pleasant dining room. The hotel bar is a delightful surprise: spacious, comfortable, and very welcoming. As for the lobby, it's impressive, with its almost dizzying height. In short, the hotel has a few areas for improvement, especially regarding carpet maintenance and room amenities, but it more than makes up for it with the quality of its staff and its very well-designed common areas."
