I have stayed at Farnham Premier inn many times in the past 6yrs. My recent visit was a shocker ! I had to ask several times for clean towels as the ones provided were not clean. Also asked for a light on the desk to be replaced as it wasn't working. I had to use my own towels from a recent holiday as they didn't change them in two days of stay. The second night a herd of Elephants moved into the room above and not only woke us up at 22:30 but kept us awake until 02:30 the next day. We called the reception twice and they did nothing, just like the towels and the broken light in our room. We noticed it's not as clean and painted surfaces were flaking away. They have permanently closed the Beefeater next door and now it's run by Premier inn. The place is really dirty and run down all the surfaces were sticky and dirty. I refused to eat in it. What a shame as it truly was a greater little place.
Appreciate a really warm welcome after a long drive down from the midlands and the gentleman who checked us in was so informative and helpful credit to your team. We were there for two nights as my wife was in a golf competition locally and on our second night we had a meal booked for twelve and it was served to perfection all on time and decent portions and hot we also enjoyed good conversation with all the staff that evening and you were all very professional. The breakfast has a choice between cereals breads buns etc or an extensive choice of cooked to order ingredients which were locally sourced items and very delicious. Would use again as the room was ideal for a couple of night stay and would like to explore the local areas in more detail the only small complaint we have was the road noise but I think that’s time of year still weather etc our second night was better than the first. Possibly the best staff we have encountered in a uk hotel for quite sometime.
I stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need.
There were some things I thought were a bit strange however.
The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap.
The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too.
Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine.
Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good.
Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite

I booked this hotel around 5 months prior to my best friends wedding. Without any prior warning I was sent an email about 4 weeks before the wedding informing my room had been cancelled with no call or reasoning behind this and I only came across the email because I was informed by a family member of the groom to check my junk email for hotel cancellation otherwise I would of more than likely turned up expecting to stay there, bearing in mind this hotel is not cheap either. I then proceeded to phone Frensham spa hotel to ask as to why my room was cancelled and I was initially met with what can only be described as the rudest customer service I have ever experienced so much so that they hung up the phone call and I had to call back for a manager to answer to apologise on behalf of their colleagues behaviour. They then explained there was a glitch in the system and that was why the room had been cancelled which was also found to be in correct and was actually because they decided to book all the rooms out for a conference instead. Experience from start to finish with this hotel was terrible and I certainly will not be recommending anyone to stay here. However on the plus side we stayed in a lovely pub/hotel called the bel and dragon in churt which had lovely bespoke rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast!!
