Avoid this hotel like the plague. Found a cockroach in the drawer. The tub faucet was 1 inch away from the wall and stuffed with toilet paper. The room key cover ask you to ask or you to "report suspicious guests". I had a non smoking room but room next to me and above me had smokers and I smelled it all night. They say they had breakfast and business center which is a lie.

We were given a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke. When I went back to the front desk, the friendly staff was apologetic and gave us a new room. The rooms are renovated and look pretty decent, like a 2.5 star hotel room. However, you cannot help but notice from the exterior that this hotel is converted from the Bluegrass Inn, a <1 star motel. Going on to the restroom, we did not have warm water during the entire stay, so we had to take cold showers. The breakfast was a joke. There were bagels but no cream cheese, cereal but no milk. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars for a better hotel in the area.

We were driving back and made a reservation with a third party to stay at this motel. We have a small dog. We paid for the room with the third party. Upon arrival we checked in. When we arrived home I checked my credit card and we were charged $170. I called merchant and he refunded $130. Then I notified my credit card company. I disputed $49.51. Merchant called me and said $30 was for pet fee. He said that the rest was for taxes and fees for using a credit card. Plenty of other places to stay around that city.

Stayed at this motel in late August 2014. Made reservations online. Check in was easy and price was good at $49 and change for a Sat night on the Labor Day weekend. This is an older motel that has been refurbished. Some of the work in not top notch such as the tile in the bathroom is new and clean but the installation is what I would consider sub standard as the tiles are not the same height and some are cracked where the shower curtain is attached etc., there is no stand for the suitcases, the hanging clothes bar is missing, and the safety lock on the door was broken. That being said, the room has a newer bed and clean sheets. The room contained a refrigerator, Microwave, Large Tube type TV, Desk with chair, round table with two chairs and two end tables. The carpet is new and clean. The sink countertop is granite and the bathroom is clean. I would stay here if I was in Elizabethtown again.

We're going to charge you the $50 and keep it regardless of what you do or to the room or say about the room or anything in the room. I had to go buy an extra heater and the smoke alarm kept going off and they came to change it twice but apparently they put a old battery in it very poorly maintained rooms. It looks clean but just wait till you turn the heat on

This place is not worth staying. The staff are not very nice at all. They charged a $50 incidental fee and if you pay with a card, there is a $5, fee. We went through Priceline where I am a VIP. But still, we are elderly, I am on a walker but still had to climb stairs which was not good for my legs and back. So if you go through Elizabethtown, KY do not stay here. It's not worth it.

It's not a 5 star hotel by any means. The reason it has 5 stars is that the guy that checked us in was very nice and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and my husband said the shower had plenty of hot water. It had a gas station and dollar General just up the road. Walmart was less than 5 miles away. Very reasonably charged for the room. The only downside for us was that the pillows were small squares. I would definitely stay again with my own pillows.

Fort Knox and Army folks- DO NOT BOOK HERE. I am personally going to try and get this removed as an option from DTS. My room was INFESTED with flies. There were shady characters hanging around, and is definitely not a safe location. I checked out early due to the unsanitary and unsafe conditions, but they charged the card up front for the whole stay and refused to refund for the balance of unused nights. This location is disgusting, and the management is extremely shady. Avoid at all costs!!

I checked every corner of the room and I even lifted up the mattress but did not find any infestation in room. I did offer you to change room before I checked your room, but you declined saying that you already have booked a room somewhere close to the military base. Upon check-in I verified your reservation information with you, only then I charged your card for your entire stay. At this location we have a "No Refund" policy and you have signed for it upon check-in and even then I have already gave you partial refund. I have already sent you receipt for this. This is a Hotel; people staying here can cautiously hang outside if they wish to, but that does not mean people are shady; and does not make unsafe location. Why do you perceive and call people shady? If the location is disgusting then why did you even check-in? Why did you stay here for 4 days? If the management is shady, then the management would not have already gave you partial refund disregarding the "No Refund" policy. Everything in this feedback you have posted is fabricated.
