Ubicación ideal si quieres ir a Port Aventura!!! Es la mejor opción. El hotel está muy bien dotado, ambientado. El desayuno es muy bueno. Merece la pena ir.

Me encantó la cercanía al parque y poder entrar 30 minutos antes.

En general, todo correcto. La habitación enorme y las camas comodísimas. Sin embargo, nos alojamos en una habitación superior Callaghan's, pero sin detalles como las habitaciones superiores del Colorado Creek (sin botella de agua, por ejemplo). Se nota que ha bajado mucho la calidad de la comida de la cena y del desayuno del hotel respecto a otras veces que hemos estado alojados en el Gold River.

He estado varias veces. Lo bueno es que están incluidas las entradas al parque. También entras al parque al lado de Uncharted y evitas la cola que hay por esta nueva atracción

Not sure where to begin to be honest. Really disheartened. Came as a family of 7, 3 adults and 4 kids. Have been to salou many times and stayed at the PortAventura hotels on 3 occasions and all been fab. Decided to stay at the Gold River resort and really wish we hadn’t bothered. I’ll start with the pros. * not long wait time for a taxi into town * Close to park Cons - * pools were closed most days and were freezing cold - no floaties allowed * Window would not open and air con was broken despite having sent someone out twice to fix - room was like a sauna * Towels that were provided were like hand towels, barely covered the kids. * Bedding smelt like someone had died in them - my sisters smelt of cheese. * Floor was filthy, our feet were black from walking in our own room. * Asked for a glass of pineapple juice and was handed a FILTHY latte glass * Food - whilst the food itself was actually ok, you had to book via the app and were only provided 40 mins to eat. You had to wait to queue and sometimes you’ll be waiting a good 10 mins which leaves you 30 min to eat. Trying to do this with 4 children is a challenge on its own. Our plates were taken away from us WHILST still eating, on the last day I had to stand up and take the food of the plate as my sister was still eating - unbelievably rude . There wasn’t a great deal of choice either, Only changed every second night. I wouldn’t care if it was free but the fact I spent short of £3k I’d expect to be able to finish my coffee and breakfast in peace and not be rushed. * Dinner is not available until 7.30pm * The room is horrible, faulty electrics and hanging plug sockets - fire hazard waiting to happen. * Barely any storage for clothes, provided 5 hangers and a shelf that could fit picture frames on it. Lived out of my case for the week * The stench of cigarettes everywhere! The theme park included, it’s disgusting. Every single day when you walk out to the hotel grounds or theme park your welcomed with the smell of cigarettes everywhere. Not ideal for non smokers or children! * No entertainment, the restaurant staff do a song in the middle of dinner which isn’t really preferred when you’re already being rushed to eat. * Went to Ferrari land which is only open 5pm-10pm so as we missed dinner we had to order dinner to hotel, security would not let driver through so we had to trek all the way down to the security gate in the dark! * All in all a really poor hotel for the price charged. * No balcony or interconnecting rooms which is not ideal for families, bed time same as kids. I know I sound like a negative Nancy but it really was awful and I’ve stayed in some rubbish hotels. NOT worth the money Which is a shame as the park itself is great and we will come back to salou and go to the theme park, but 100000% will not be staying in one of the hotels. Huge let down.

Have been many times to all the hotels,first time to gold river,arrived Tue morning and room was ready,we were put in the Callaghans,we were full board, what a fantastic part of the hotel,the whole complex was a lovely western theme,staff very nice couldn't do enough for us,codes for lunch and dinner were easy to use,swapped our evening meal a couple of nights to eat in the park,food was ok,always found something I liked,cocktails were lovely,they did run out now and again of mainly vodka,dissarono and jack Daniels,but not much of a problem,pools are lovely and quiet, I loved how quiet the hotel was,no running for sunbeds or packed in like sardines in the bar,I suppose it's because they are in the park most of the time,it felt more chilled and not noisy,no entertainment but I knew this,much prefer it that way,did go into Salou a couple of times , enjoyable holiday,would go again

Just spent a week here, after an evacuation from El Paso, where a kitchen fire caused an electrical outage, resulting in a farcical evac, total chaos. Found we were treated like 2nd class citizens, due to our All Inclusive status. Rude staff, terrible food, uncooked, cold and very little choice. This was repeated daily, in a 40 min window, tough luck if you wasted 20 mins of this queueing, to find no plates available. Outdated, dirty rooms. Constant drone of western music enough to drive you mad. All in all, our holiday was spoilt by this hotel. On line images do not fully represent the state of the rooms. Would not recommend or visit again.
