ฉันต้องยกเลิกการเดินทางไปเอดินบะระกะทันหันเนื่องจากเหตุฉุกเฉินทางการแพทย์ในครอบครัว ทำให้ไม่สามารถใช้การจองห้องพักสองห้องที่ B+B Edinburgh ได้ ในการขอเบิกเงินคืนจากประกันการเดินทาง สิ่งที่ฉันต้องการก็แค่วันรับรองการไม่เข้าพัก (no-show confirmation) พื้นฐานจากโรงแรมเท่านั้น ไม่มีอะไรมากไปกว่านั้น ไม่ต้องคืนเงิน ไม่ต้องชดเชยใดๆ โชคไม่ดีที่แม้ฉันจะมีหลักฐานทั้งหมดที่แสดงว่าฉันไม่ได้เดินทาง (ใบรับรองการไม่แสดงตัวขึ้นเครื่องบินจากสายการบิน, รายการเดินบัญชีธนาคารที่แสดงว่าฉันอยู่ในเบลเยียม, เอกสารทางการแพทย์) โรงแรมกลับปฏิเสธที่จะออกเอกสารง่ายๆ นี้ซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า ตัวแทนการท่องเที่ยวของฉันยังแจ้งด้วยว่าโรงแรมอ้างว่าฉันเข้าพักที่นั่น ซึ่งไม่เป็นความจริง ด้วยเหตุนี้ ไฟล์ประกันของฉันจึงไม่สามารถดำเนินการให้สมบูรณ์ได้ ฉันผิดหวังอย่างมากกับวิธีที่โรงแรมจัดการกับสถานการณ์นี้ เมื่อโรงแรมไม่สามารถหรือไม่เต็มใจที่จะยืนยันเรื่องพื้นฐานง่ายๆ อย่างการที่แขกไม่เคยเช็คอินเข้าพัก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเมื่อแขกสามารถพิสูจน์ได้อย่างชัดเจน มันทำให้ฉันกังวลว่าคุณภาพการบริการของพวกเขาอาจจะอยู่ในระดับเดียวกับการปฏิเสธครั้งนี้ ประสบการณ์ทั้งหมดนี้ทำให้ฉันเครียดโดยไม่จำเป็น และฉันหวังว่านี่จะเป็นประโยชน์ในการช่วยให้ผู้อื่นได้รับทราบถึงสิ่งที่คาดหวังได้

The hotel is housed in a very beautiful building, with the library being especially stunning. The rooms are spacious, and breakfast mainly consists of a classic Scottish breakfast. The staff are excellent — very polite and friendly. There are also Ukrainian and Russian-speaking staff, which was a pleasant surprise.

Room is very spacious, the staff is very helpful in solving issues for us. The hotel feels like a home as there is a library.

I love the view and architecture there! However the lift is a bit old and slow

We only stayed here one night but it was the perfect spot for us to be to explore Edinburgh! Great room, really clean, lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Only taking off one star for amenities as there was no fridge in our room and we had brought back leftovers from dinner haha. Lovely view from our room! Good breakfast in the morning too, continental wasn’t huge but really nice cooked breakfast to order. The vegan breakfast was lovely! Staff were really nice and helpful too. Thanks!

Really enjoyed our 4 nights at the hotel and breakfast was good apart from the last day when the server and kitchen staff changed.The breakfast was stale and cold and they didn’t refill the continental side.Good location for all that Edinburgh has to offer.

Lovely building in an ideal location. However, the staff didn’t seem to care about serving guests. Little things were missing, e.g., glasses in the room, marmalade at breakfast. Won’t be staying there again.

Totally great, lift needs to get lager and air need to be cleaner

Lovely building in a great location close to the West end. Very spacious. Room furniture was tired and needs a clean. Bin hadn't been emptied. Breakfast was just ok. Little things like emptying bins and toast being forgotten didn't spoil our overall enjoyment. Will definitely stay again.

第一次給差評，房間應該是雜物間改成的，根本無法居住，房間小，而且不規整，非常壓抑，衹能彎腰或者蹲着上床！找前台協商説沒有空餘房間，網站上展示的圖片根本不完整，有欺詐消費者的嫌疑！

非常好的民宿，位置雖然離市中心有段距離，但就緊鄰Dean village，窗外景色非常美，可以幾分鐘走到德恩村遊逛；裝修和傢俱都挺高級的，早餐尤其好，可以選本地特色的各種早餐，很豐盛。價格比較貴
