Fantastic Hotel , wax very annoyed they put 12.5 % charge on everything you buy , very under hand

It was a terrible experience during our trip to Edinburgh. The room was not being tidy for the entire day . The request of top up supplies of water tooks more than 45 minutes and after 2 calls of reminder. The On duty officer took action after we personally went down to receptionist to remind the request. Not recommended.

Great old school hotel that provides affordable luxury. All amenities thought off,I really can’t fault it. The only thing I would mention is that there is no air con but for Edinburgh that isn’t really needed 95% of the time. Would definitely return

Beautiful hotel, great staff, well made drinks at the bar. Bit of a walk to the castle area, but a nice walk.

Good short stay for 1 night, they have 1 library and bar / restaurant as amenities

Great location, very nice building, with wonderfully appointed common areas (esp liked the library). Friendly and attentive service and tasty food (recommend the afternoon tea). The rooms are well decorated, spacious and bright. BUT there is a lot of noise, primarily from internal sources. So insulation really should be improved. Everything is audible from the hallway and the pipes make a lot of noise when shower/bathroom is used in neighbouring rooms. This is not what I would expect from this level of hotel.

酒店很安靜，床很大很舒服。但房間稍小。 酒店每日會送一些點心，水。 但酒店大堂比較小，也衹有一些有需要喝酒點餐的顧客才可以坐到下面的房間，這一點不太好。

這個酒店衹能説又愛又恨，有一段不好的入住體驗。花了2700塊訂了地下室的房間你敢信？！ 酒店房間的圖片與實際嚴重不符。預訂時就關注到普通房型的圖片可能是地下，所以特意預訂了高一層級的房型（攜程上對應的圖片看出來也是正常窗户和樓層），但到了酒店後依然被安排在了地下室。酒店經理解釋他們的房間不分樓層，然後當天樓上的房間被安排完了，就給我們安排了地下的房間。 住在地下真的不能接受，衹能接受了經理的推薦，額外加了80磅差價、升級到頂樓的房型。 環境：如圖所示，升級後房間視野真心絕佳。酒店距王子街和城堡等重要景點步行約20mins，位置略遠、但可以接受。 設施：房間設施整體不錯，酒店環境很古典，維護得也不錯。後門有停車場，還算方便。 衞生：可能是我們臨時換的房間吧，入住後發現洗手間應該有人使用過，垃圾桶裏也有用過的刮鬍刀，不知道是不是打掃人員順道丟的… 所以如果要入住，建議提前確定好房型和樓層。

酒店裝修很棒，大堂有很寬大的樓梯，有服務員可以幫忙拎行李。房間有一頂大大的水晶燈，進房間便能聽到播放着的古典音樂。衞生間還有一個浴缸，在愛丁堡的陰冷雨天，泡個熱水澡，體驗真的是非常棒。

入住的很不錯，比較安靜…酒店很小，但是設施很不錯！

酒店地理位置很好～酒店內乾淨舒適！下午茶也很棒～
