Great hotel. Efficient. Cozy. Would stay again

Just spent 5 days at this hotel. Everything was fab from the restaurant with good, tasty meal choices and staff only too happy to help, a special mention to our waitress Lynne who was very helpful and shared her local knowledge with us. The evening entertainment was great. We stayed in a ground floor room as I have mobility issues, the hotel isn't 100% disabled friendly but the staff were more than happy to help me, carrying my suitcase to and from the room for me.

We had a fantastic two-night half-board stay. The rooms were very comfortable, the food was excellent with generous portions, and the half-price bar from 7:30–10:30 in the ballroom was a great bonus. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The Wednesday night entertainment was outstanding, with a great selection of songs that suited the audience perfectly—lots of people were up dancing and clearly having a wonderful time. Unfortunately, Thursday night didn’t quite live up to that standard. Although Jane was very pleasant, her choice of music—ranging from 80s and 90s hits to The Killers and ballads—didn’t really suit the older audience. As a result, there was noticeably less dancing and overall enjoyment. The contrast with Wednesday night made this more apparent. We ended up leaving early and heading to the Burlington Hotel, where we saw an act called Melodie. They were fantastic—their song choices were spot-on for the crowd, the dance floor was full, and it made for a brilliant end to the evening. This is the only reason I couldn’t give a full 5-star rating. On a positive note, Melodie do perform at this hotel on Sundays and Wednesdays, which is definitely something to look forward to. The only constructive criticism would be that adding background music in the reception area would really enhance the atmosphere.

Such a well organised, friendly hotel with exceptionally efficient restaurant service. Cheerful staff who have time to have a laugh with guests. Thoroughly clean with rooms cleaned etc whilst breakfasts were served. Food, hot, varied and with generous portions. Entertainment most evenings including Bingo and duo vocalists in very pleasant downstairs Ballroom. Overall brilliant value for money and top class service 👌. You should all be proud of yourselves Haddon Hotel employees 👏. The beachfront location is great too!!

All in all, a lovely stay, good food, excellent staff. Claire, Steve, Alvarez to name a few. As said, rooms are a bit small and dated. Only one complaint to the dining room management.... Can we please have a pepper grinder and not the pepper powder. Xxx Michaela.

What a lovely hotel....room was clean and comfy bed.. food was lovely with a variety of choices each day...polite and helpful staff. Lovely setting by the sea front with a 10 minute walk into the town. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is one of the best we all realy enjoyed our stay the staff were so pleasant the rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day will definitely come again

Had a fantastic break with 2 girl friends, with two of the driest and sunniest days of this year, ( how lucky were we!!) Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. We had 3 single rooms which were a bit on the small side but adequate for our needs. The food was delicious and hot, our waitress Belinda was very nice, knew her stuff about the food, nothing was to much. Will definitely go back

Had a 5 day 4nights stay at the hotel.All staff are polite and professional i would recommend the hotel to anyone.A big thanks to Tina in the bar but all the staff are great.The food was very very good.would I stay again without a doubt
