First I'd like to say that Ms. Patricia was so helpful. I landed well before checking time and she held my suitcase as I went to get something to eat. Then when I got back, she went above and beyond by allowing me to check in early. This establishment is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Dallas/ Fort Worth area! Home run!!!
This establishment is very clean and well taken care of. Staff is nice. Sometimes short handed, that the front desk person has to leave the counter to go upstairs and return the baggage cart from a customer who used it to carry their belongings up with. Leaving the counter empty for as long as it takes them to go upstairs and retrieve the cart. I understand they are doing their best with what they have. I will enjoy my stay here again!
Pros: 1. The room was very clean and air conditioning was cold. 2. Staff was very friendly. 3. Breakfast was ok and what you would expect for a free breakfast. Cons: 1. Pool out of service. (We cancelled our other hotel because it didn't have a pool to go to this hotel. We should have been notified at the time of booking.) 2. Only 1 working ice machine in the entire hotel. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of service. Ice machine on the 3rd floor was completely missing. Ice machine on the 4th floor worked but was extremely slow to deliver ice. 3. No vending machines in the entire hotel. 4. Some of the outside side/back doors were not accessible with using keycard. 5. No benches by the front door so you could sit while you were waiting.
Booked a king room. When we arrived they said they were overbooked on king rooms and put us in a queen. I called down and let the front office know that I paid more to guarantee a king and they found us one and the room felt newer and nicer. Overall great experience.
Very clean and new or newly remodeled hotel. I would definitely stay again. Room has everything you need for a long stay including kitchen and utensils. There is a laundry and gym. Breakfast was good, especially the yogurt and waffles. The breakfast attends greeted us each morning. We had a good view of downtown buildings. One thing to note was our door was hard to close for room 625. We had to pull really hard. Other than that, GREAT stay.
The hotel was very clean. I felt welcomed upon check in. My room was ready and clean. I choose Hampton Inn & Suites because of the amenities offered. This location exceeded my standards. I often have the complimentary breakfast. I was very impressed that I was able to have breakfast every morning because there was always a non-pork option I could choose to go with my self- made to order waffles. If you're driving the hotel is in a convenient location to I20 and other interstates. However if you choose to use the public transportation, as I did, note that the bus from the train station doesn't stop near the hotel. I did have to Lyft from the stop nearest the hotel. $6 for the Lyft + $3 for the train and bus was a better value than a $60 Lyft or Uber from the airport. Plus during the train ride you're able to take in the beautiful views of the city. The hotel was in a convenient location for my purpose. I will definitely choose this location for my return trips.
Arrived late to the wrong hotel. Caroline made the call to the other Laquinta we were reserved at. Thankfully they did not charge us and she took care of everything. Nice Hotel!!
