When we encountered issues with our initial room, Marlienna went above and beyond to rectify the situation and ensure that we had a memorable and comfortable stay. Marlienna's professionalism and dedication were evident as she took the time to show us alternative rooms and discuss our options for a more suitable accommodation. Her proactive approach and genuine concern for our satisfaction truly made a difference in our experience at the hotel. "Disappointing Experience: False Advertising and Tiny Rooms" The room we were given bore no resemblance to the spacious, airy accommodations depicted on the official website. Instead, we were greeted with a cramped, suffocating space that felt like a far cry from what was advertised. Not only was the room tiny, but it also had just one window, further exacerbating the feeling of claustrophobia. It's clear that the hotel's marketing materials do not accurately represent the reality of the accommodations. Overall, I feel misled and deceived, and I would caution anyone considering staying there to manage their expectations accordingly. This establishment's false advertising practices are unacceptable, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and honest lodging experience.

Smashing place. Rooms comfortable but Breakfast was the highlight of the stay 🤟😘

The junior staff were amazing, senior staff were up themselves, location was great hotel was clean. The dining area was too small and for a 4 star hotel I would've expected my breakfast served, not help yourself style you would find at a travel lodge. In short over priced rooms no lesuire facilities and for 4 mojitos cost €50 I've had better value for money elsewhere. First and last time I will stay here!!!

Marilena was amazing! She helped us map where we were going, and was very thorough in explaining any of our questions.

Fabulous stay, staff excellent and very good value for money given such a wonderful setting.

A unique and charming property that is housed in the remains of an old castle. The rooms were nice, comfortable and quiet. The hotel itself was beautiful although the modern artwork clashed with the ambience of the hotel in my opinion. The front desk staff was excellent, as was the staff in the bar. The staff in the buffet restaurant seemed to be from another planet - they did a lot of wandering around but were not very interactive or efficient. We ate there every day and it was the same each day. Getting a response out of the staff there was always a challenge. But the food was good. The hotel is within walking distance of a large park along the waterfront/harbor, as well as few restaurants, coffee shops, and other businesses. It’s close to the airport but not as convenient to the heart of Dublin. But it’s in a nice quiet area of the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clontarf castle. The check in staff were fantastic, very friendly and great with our baby. The room we were given was lovely, clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent too. We will definitely stay here again.

All of the workers at Clontarf castle were so helpful and polite. I really appreciate that they upgraded us when we arrived, and so we got to stay in a family room which gave us a bit of extra space. Also, the food at all of the restaurants was very good, and the room service was very prompt. I will say, some places, like the Violet Lounge, could use some additional signage to make it clear whether or not you need to wait to be seated or not. Other than that, I loved my stay here.

The hotel looked just lovely like the pictures on the website. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Clontarf castle is a beautiful place to stay. Located in a beautiful part of Dublin. Close to good pubs with easy walking. Can park vehicle on property for free which was nice. The breakfasts were super yummy. The rooms were pretty and inviting. I wish we would have spent more time there but maybe next time. You won’t be sorry if you choose this place to stay.
