"I chose this hotel based on its high ratings. I'm always very selective about value for money when traveling for business. This hotel, with two beds for just over 180 yuan a night, had very nice facilities and a great environment for a budget hotel. The front desk and facade were nicely decorated, but once inside, it was a completely different story. It must have been a renovated old hotel. The bathroom had no light, and the toilet flushed directly out of the bowl onto my butt. The slightest movement caused it to flush, and I had to stand up and stand far away from the toilet to wipe my butt. It was ridiculous! This was still tolerable in comparison. For so many years of business travel, I rarely review any business, whether good or bad. This time, I was truly unbearable: normally, in situations like this, as long as the cleanliness was acceptable, I'd be fine with it, but I don't know if it was a problem with the room facilities or something else entirely! !!!!!!!!! All night long, there were constant noises of running and things falling from the ceiling of the room, averaging every 5-10 minutes. Then there was the extremely loud squeak of someone pushing and pulling the door open, also every 5-10 minutes, and it didn't stop until around 8 or 9 in the morning. The noises from the ceiling and door were so loud and constant that I couldn't sleep at all! Plus, the room was right next to the elevator, so there was the constant sound of people getting on and off, and doors opening and closing all night long. At around 4 a.m., dogs from the nearby village started barking non-stop, and chickens started crowing. It was like I was completely terrified the entire night! This is the scariest hotel I've stayed in in all my years of business travel!"

Dongxing is a newly developed city with numerous budget hotels, creating fierce competition. We hope this hotel can improve its management and upgrade its facilities."
